I walk onto the train my mom shouting "Make good grades!" at me. The moment I step on I am filled with energy. I push past people as I look for an empty compartment soon I find one and sit down.

Victoria came back to her compartment- and then saw another girl. This one had spiky black hair and blue eyes. She was putting her stuff away, and Victoria hated to disturb her.

"Hello?" She said quietly. "You might have thought the compartment was empty- but I'm staying in it. You're welcome to stay of course, but I'm just telling you I'll be in here too." She smiled slightly, then sat down and continued Jane Eyre.

"Oh sorry I didn't know." As soon as I say this Thunderclaw escapes out of her box and starts sniffing arround to find the perfect spot to sleep.

*Ember*

I go back to reading, a bit lonely.

"I'm Aislinn." I pronounce it a bit like Ashling.

*Ember*

I loom up at her and smile.
"I'm Ember, and my brother is Josh" I point to my brother who is still staring out the window.

Caireann gives a trill of joy, and rubs her head on ember, making little preening movements. I hold out my arm, which has a leather brace on it, and she lands. "She likes you."

*Ember*

I grin and stroke my white cat Snowfall who is sleeping on my lap.

I yawn and lean against the window, falling asleep from the time we had to get up to come here. My parents didn't apparate. I never knew why.

*Josh*

My owl GoldWings hoots once from inside his cage and I shift positions slightly.
