(I'll try my hand at naming when I find another cat :3)

Seeing as there's not a lot of unavoidable danger, Emeraldstar decides to go back to the twoleg place after stashing the rat.

Twoleg Place: The rat safely stored for later, your catch seems to have stirred some activity in the area.
Not long after you enter the twolegs' territory, you find another cat. They are a black-furred tom kitten with mixed green and amber eyes, about 5 moons old, and in good health. (Stats: Health 6, Aware 4, Intelligence 2, Strength 2, Charm 4, Luck 4) (10-cat found!)

(Sorry, what does "(10-cat found!)" mean exactly? Well, the '10' part. Also do I have to convince the kitten to come with me?)

Approaching the small kitten, Emeraldstar slowly blinked and said, "Hello, little one. Are you all alone out here?"

((The numbers at the ends of the posts are just me keeping track of the random "dice rolls" that determine what happens whenever you explore- so for the rat, I rolled against your strength value and you lost, but your luck let you catch it since the number I rolled was equal to or less than your luck stat. This time, I rolled a ten for your encounter number, which I didn't write down last time, and a ten means you found a cat. Encounter numbers are different for each zone, and there are different prey and enemy lists for them too, so each place is a little different.

Originally I didn't plan on having to convince the cats, but I might add that if people like the idea? It would give the Charm stat more of a purpose, since right now it's only useful for convincing enemy cats to leave or join you depending on if they're rogues or loners. For now, the kitten you found will join you automatically, and you can name them whatever you like. )

The kitten squirms around a little, seemingly too excited to sit down. "I guess so, " he replies casually, before continuing with barely any pause, "How'd you catch that really big mouse like that? Can you teach me?" He's practically jumping at the idea, and seems willing to follow you out of the twoleg place.

(Ohhh, okay! Yeah I guess it would make the charm stat more useful)

"Well, the really big mouse was actually a rat, and I can try to teach you!" Emeraldstar playfully pounces on a blade of grass to attempt a demonstration.

((I'll give it a shot then, I added "personalities" to the cat randomizer I use to generate the cats. Different personalities rely on each of the different stats for now. And sorry, the kitten just needs a name and I'll add them to your clan's list! Emeraldstar can explore again- exploring is sort of the main way things happen in this at the moment ;w; When the kitten is 6 moons old, they'll be an apprentice, and you can take them on explorations with you. All cats will age 1 moon every 5 explorations a clan does.

...I should probably write this down somewhere more visible, actually....))

"Oh! Okay," the responds, spending a few minutes mimicking Emeraldstar's actions with a little too much enthusiasm, flipping over a few times. "Hey, can I go with you? It's boring here anyway."

This time Emeraldstar chooses to go to the Flame Scar, hoping it's not too much for him to handle.

The Flame Scar: "That's way better than the name my twolegs gave me," Nightglow replies with a purr, getting up to follow the leader. Emeraldstar and the young Nightglow arrive at the burnt forest, but nothing seems to be stirring but the wind. There might be something further in, though. (2-Nothing around)

The Flame Scar: The two come to a rocky clearing surrounded by signed tree stumps and fallen trunks.
A slightly sour smell tinges the area- the signature scent of reptiles. Though some snakes are known to be dangerous to cats, the one that slithers into view is not such a snake- in fact, it looks like a decent meal if you can stand the smell. With a deft leap, Emeraldstar pins its tail, and Nightglow catches the head. The two cats make short work of it, and can add another piece of prey to their stash. (7-prey; 5-Small snake(Awareness)*; emeraldstar 7>5 catch!, nightglow 4>1 catch!)
