Johan excels at deductive reasoning and is a very fast and agile runner with good stamina. Had he not been transported to Little Garden he would have gone on to become a special investigator specializing in violent crimes involving other gifts. (This is the plot of the story he is originally from.)

Sometimes his ability will activate before he is aware of the situation himself and so he is inadvertently drawn to dangerous situations occurring nearby simply because he can sense them. In truth he encounters these situations about as often as any other person might, its just that most people don't notice them happening. Because of this he is seen as a highly unlucky person warranting the nickname "Black Cat".

Johan is a surprisingly sheltered person, his father was highly protective of him and after being taken into custody Johan lived in a special children's home for gifts in difficult situations. There his closest companion was his therapist Dr. Melanie Garret.

It took Johan several years of therapy to fully understand why it was wrong to kill someone, and where death still doesn't frighten him like it would a normal person he now is fully dedicated to following proper morals.

It is difficult to get a read on his personality because he is so sheltered, but if someone were to manage to get close enough to gain his trust they would likely find that he is a typical teenager deep down.

Bio/ Backstory: he first noticed he powers on the way home from school. Javy lived in a bad part of town, and had to walk home from school everyday. At the same corner near his home a group of kids would hang out and mug him for lunch money and the sorts in the morning and when he was walking home. Despite telling his mom she did nothing to stop it. Then one day he just blinked past them, all of them. He started blinking past his mother too, and the bullies at school. Then one day he blinked to the garden.
