The tiny dragon burst through her egg and Iooked around the den. Her parents gazed down at her, and she grinned before leaping onto the nearest thing next to her. She began gnawing, and was lifted into the air as her dad raised his tail. KABOOM! She jumped and fell off his tail, glaring at the den's entrance."What should we call her?" The tiny dragon turned away from the storm. Her dad tilted it's head. "How about Lightning?" her mom smiled. "Lightning." She said softly, nodding. Lightning tackled her.

A week later Lightning woke up early and nudged her parents. "Wake up! I wana learn to fish. You promised me!"Stella stirred, but she didn't get up. Lightning ran to her dad. "Get up!" she rammed into his head, but he only tucked it in and mumbled something. Lightning thought for a moment before deciding to learn herself. She ran out of the den and blinked in the sunlight. She had never been outside the den before. She noticed a glimmer at the bottom of the ledge she was on. Water! "I'm coming fish!" Lightning jumped of the ledge, flapping clumsily before splashing into the lake. She thrust her hind legs, and her head burst out into the open. She felt something flopping on her head, and a fish slid into the water. It swam into her wing, and she grabbed it with her paws, shoving it in her jaws. Yum! "Lightning!" She looked up and saw her parents flying down to her. "Don't do that ever again!" Stella said, hauling her daughter out of the water. "Look! I caught a fish!"
