Aria snorted in laughter before she could hold it in. She suddenly stopped walking and put a paw on her mouth, glared at Jercho and hissed "You heard nothing." Then she continued walking, a little faster than before.

(Btw this is like the first time she's laughed in front of someone)

Jercho mimed zipping his lips closed with a paw, mischief glimmered in his deep blue eyes, "Don' worry Ari your 'secrets' safe with me."

Aria stared down at the floor, scowling. Her fur ruffled in the wind as she muttered "Shut up.... It doesn't make you special."

"Ho.Ho.Ho. There's the Ari we all know and love, c'mon let's go." Jercho said resuming his walk.

Aria watched Jercho as he walked forwards, she scoffed quietly. "Stupid Jercho." She followed quietly behind him.

Jercho completely ignored that last comment, he'd grown used to it after all. He continued his bouncy pace on sure-footed, pink paws.

Aria raced after Jercho, catching up to him rather quickly and huffed. "Do you even know where we're going?" She asked in a very unimpressed voice. She stopped walking all together and scraped her left claw into her right foot, lightly scratching it.

Lial felt alone and out of place here in the upper part of the city. Why was he even here? He hated being here, seeing the affluent homes of the higher class citizens made him irritated. He was fully aware how badly he stuck out in a crowd like this with his dusty feathers calloused hands and lack of any sort of adornments. So he never ventured into the main market streets. He stayed in the alleyways and narrow backstreets where he wasn't so out of place.
Even so, there were people here who saw some use in him as unsavoury as their requests often were. He was strong and handsome, that was all they cared about. Even back in the slums where everyone pitied him, they at least saw him as a person. What would his brothers say if they knew what kind of work he was doing here? He cringed at the thought. Ferrying illegal goods, collecting debts, and other... services, all of which went completely against his real nature. But still, how else was a jobless orphan from the slums supposed to make a living?

Aria dragged Jercho through a backalley in order to get to where they needed to be. While she was walking, she spotted a male Nytekrie. 'That's odd' She thought. 'I haven't ever seen them before!'
