"You probably would have too. I know I'm not supposed to do this, but I'm going to break the First Law of Time. I'm going to go back on my time stream, and stop the Rani from turning evil, or more evil than she was." he said, pulling a lever.
The TARDIS shook, sending the ancient timepieces crashing to the floor.
"She...Doesn't seem...to want to land!" he said, holding on to the console.

"She doesn't want me to go back on my own timeline, so she's fighting against it! Oh come on! NOT again!" he said. The time rotor froze in place, and at the same time, the lights dimmed, and the candles extinguished.

He thumped the console with his hand, the time rotor started to rise and fall normally again. The lights flickered back on.
"Sorry about that. The TARDIS started doing that a few days ago." he said apologetically.

The time rotor stopped suddenly, followed by a dull thud.
"Well, we're here. Lakeryta, some time in may, or as they'd call it, Tochurdon. You want to take a look?" he asked, holding the door open for her.
