He was knocked from his feet by a blow to the side. "Hey!" He yowled once he regained his balance. "Watch where you are going!" Rune shook the dust from his pelt ears back in warning.

Ember flew to Bandit as fast as she could only to fly straight into fire from not paying attentions. She cried out in pain as it sears her fur

Bandit scrambled back quickly, still wrapped in shadows. She shook her head to clear it, and saw something flaming run towards her. She jumped up and backed closer to the river. She carefully took in the sight: A brown Vulnyx that obviously felt angry at her, and a flaming Vulnyx who she identified as Ember. "Ember!" She called, "Go to the river!"

Ember rushes to the river and dives into it

Bandit walked to the edge but didn't jump in. Her powers didn't work underwater, and she felt safe with the smoke around her paws, it was cool and comforting. So instead, she peered anxiously under the water, looking for Ember in the cloud of steam that rose.

Suddenly a new Vulnyx named Frost surfaces, taking Bandit by surprise.

Bandit jumps as the strange Vulnyx appears, surrounding everything in thick, impenetrable smoke.

Ember jumped out looking like a drowned cat.
