Hearing the crunch of leaves under the strange girl's feet, Fenrir spun in time to see her dart down the street--but no, she wasn't a girl anymore. Evidently, she hadn't seen him in the shadows by his front porch. The sheepish shapeshifter pranced casually along.

He was struck with horror and fear for her. Being a hidden animal himself, he was mortified! What carelessness! What of the people in their homes nearby? Any one could look out the window and--
He jumped inside long enough to scratch a note to his parents, then dashed after the girl, who had returned to human form.

Vale smiled at the newcomer, then frowned when she saw Fenrir sprinting after her. He screeched to a halt, stumbling back awkwardly when he saw the others at the stop, and cringed, evidently not having known they were there. Vale felt an immediate spark of interest.

Fennie sat at the stop and took a book out from her bag. Pushing her fluffy pink her behind her ears, she started reading. The book was about a boy who visits a different world every time he falls asleep. He is convinced he is dreaming until he falls into a battlefield world and gets a few cuts and bruises. When he awakes, they remain.

The commotion made Levy pause. she really hated being in her human form and really wanted to shift but she knew that would not be wise, at least not here. She sighed at the lack of alternative and raced after the girl

Fenrir and Vale stood uncomfortably, their gazes travelling from Fennie to each other and back again.
Vale shook her head to clear it, smiled, and said,
"Hey, Fen'."

"Good morning Vale." he seemed a little distracted, and, despite herself, Vale wondered why a girl would possibly be taking up so much of his attention...

Fenrir watched as Levy raced away. He had seen her around and knew her name but little more. Did she run because she had seen Fennie shift? Was it him? Or did she have some other reason? The beautiful morning had a new chill.

Fennie continued reading, and her eyes seemed to widen at a few moments in the book. When she seemed to do this for a long time, her ears seemed to get poofy for a fraction of a second.

Vale looked at the peculiar girl, and she could sense Fenrir doing the same. Suddenly, even from a distance, she felt his surpressed emotions explode as he spluttered,
"Fennie! You--" he bit his tongue, cringing again.

Mulim adjusted her hijjab and pulled up her gloves as she walked down the street. "'Iqbal daeif.." she muttered to herself. Mulim saw a girl with bright pink hair. Her maternal instincts were going wild. She cant be older than 20! she thought to herself, Such a sweet moonborn babe would be torn to pieces out in this cruel world! I will protect the child.

"What?" She said, her ears already back to normal.
