Shannon cried in the streets pleading for food since she had no money. But all the townsfolk ignored her pleas and continued walking. She curled up in an alley and cried

In the alleyway, a small figure came out. Turns out it was just a squirrel.
it chittered, revealing a small blue glint on it's lips.

It ran away as soon as Shannon saw it, leaving the eaten nut.

Shannon cried and took the nut. She scraped it against the ground.

Lucia watched the town from the shadows. She muttered something and then she ran farther into the woods

The squirrel backed away and ran up and past Lucia.

Lucia followed the squirrel

Trik adjusted their bandanna against the wind. They growled and cursed the lack of cobblestones beneath her feet. They caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of their eye. Squirrel. They let out an almost savage cry and leaped onto the rodent, grasping it's throat tightly and shaking it fiercely.

The squirrel yelped and then pushed himself out of their grasps, chittering.

They growled to themself. They didn't have enough time to chase after a squirrel. Trik itched at their bandages and made their way back to the city.

Lucia froze seeing the vicious person nearing her and she tried to hide but she stuck out like a sore thumb

Trik noticed the girl, looking her up and down intimidatingly. "I haven't seen you arof-at-around before..." they stuttered suspiciously. They looked around for any other people around. "Have you got any food?" They asked, kind of shrinking back into the grey backdrop.
