So how to CoD: Yeah it was hard for me too.
Go to inventory then you pick a item like a mushroom, then once it's selected you click the envelope with the green arrow. Once you click on it a page will pop up that will let you chose a contact/recipient and type in a price. So for you it would be 1000g.If you want to make it easier you should add the person as a friend because it will be in a contact list on the page. It will probably show up like this:
Select the Recipient of this Item
[Item that you chose here]
Recipient:____________
Contact List
CoD amount:___________
