Growling the nixi drug the bag of leaves and twigs to the camp with the help of his mate. "You think this is enough to build everyone a nest? I hate the thought of anyone getting cold during the night." Marcurio growled through clenched teeth. Ase flicked her tail at him and dropped the bundle in the front of their personal den.
"More than, most everyone has a nest already but this should be enough to finish them off." She panted sitting for a moment before he mate joined her. "To think it's been almost a month since we confessed our love..."
"Time seems to fly does it not?" The male chuckled hugging her close. "Yet still we have not had an egg."
"Don't start this again!" Ase growled pushing him over onto his back. "I told you once I feel as though I am ready then we can start a family." Truth be told she did feel like starting a family but she didn't wish to say. What if he got mad?

Luna And Jack Padded in quickly chuckling amongst themselves

The egg starts to hatch giving off a strange glow. Then it breaks exposing a cute male Zolnixi. "It's name is gonna be Butterfly Guardian!" Ruby Guardian announced.

He growled leaping into the undergrowth. He hissed at Marcurio to hurry up.
He leaped through and quietly approached Patriotic.

Patriotic was laughing and chuckling, unaware of the storm. He was dancing with another young Zolnixi.

He bit him on the neck and Patriotic screamed.

He picked him up by the scruff and sighed, "Patriotic, who's that?"
"Buenas Noches."
"She your friend?"
He blushed. "Yeah."

They ran back to the tribe.

He went to check on Ruby.

He saw the egg hatching. He warmed the hatchling.
"Good grief, now? It's a storm!"
He laughed his head off.

Genesis shooed Patriotic into the hatchery.

Luna sat at the entrance watching the rain storm while Jack was inside flirting as usual

"Genesis come look!" Ruby Guardian said. "Isn't Butterfly Guardian just to die for?"

He watched the rain pelt on his fur. He saw Luna watching too. "It's wet, isn't it? At least our drinking supplies are refilled though.

"Genesis have you ever thought of taking up a mate?" Ruby Guardian asked.

"Once." he said, sorrowfully.

"I am so sorry for you." Ruby Guardian said.
