Has anyone ever gotten an essence from nurturing an egg? Is it even possible to get essences from nurturing eggs? I'm just really curious about this.

I've gotten essences from nurturing both eggs and hatchlings. (In fact I generally don't nurture hatchlings, just eggs) Essence drops are really rare (though I believe the drop rate from nurturing is actually better than the drop rate from battles, because there are so many other possible rewards for battling).

since starting i have come across about three or four essenses just from nurturing ive made up 2 luporeas and i think it was 2 faouleans the deer ones
