"No, I was hoping to buy one once we got to Ravenden." Ase said. Her tail flicked again as she let out a muffled purr. "Do you really think that there is a whole city of gold under the mountain? I mean, I'm not saying there can't be but it seems a bit strange to me that there would be a whole kingdom under a mountain and no one would know about it."

"That's the best part! No one knows! And either way, we'll be the first to know! But I bet the rumors have some grain of truth in them," Anton said excitedly, gesturing with his hands as he talked. "What would you do with the gold if we did find it?" he asked Ase.

"I guess live, what else do we really need?" Ase purred. "We will have a whole kingdom to ourselves, and a whole load of gold to go with it, we can do anything we want with it. Which leads me to ask, you know a kingdom will need a king. What do you say? I'm sure you can run a whole kingdom."

"Whoa whoa whoa. Ruling a whole kingdom sounds like a way too much responsibility. I want to see the world! Last time I checked kings aren't allowed to kill dragons," Anton said, laying back in a chair and resting his feet on the "What about you? Fancy being queen?"

"Actually I would, even if it was for a city that had no one in it. Though I wouldn't want to keep the job long, I would want to go and be free." Ase sighed. "And it would sound rather weird with my name. All hail Queen The Beggar Lady!" The khajiit smiled and flicked her tail at the thought, though inside she long for that kind of recognition. "We really should hit the hay, we have a long day tomorrow to speak of these matters and many more." Standing she leaned over and gave him a slight kiss on the cheek, the same she did every night. It didn't mean much, other than saying sweet dreams and the likes. The bed roll was already laid out this she simply lay on it and curled up to sleep. "Night Anton."

Anton stood up and pushed the chair in. "Good night your majesty, Queen The Beggar Lady," he replied, and then added. "You're right, that's quite a mouthful." He flopped into the hammock he had strung from the rafters. He knew he couldn't bring it on the trip, so he wanted to use it while he still could. While he didn't mind sleeping on the ground, he always felt more comfortable in hammocks. He lay on his back staring at the ceiling, wishing sleep came easily to him.

The khajiit smiled as she slipped off to sleep. Morning seemed to come early for one that liked to be up before the sun. Ase had been up a long time before the first light, again another strange tradition of hers. She had the fire going, with the help of some minior magic, and had already found the time to fix a small breakfast. She yawned as she watched the flames dance around the fire wood, eating at it hungrily. Sighing she stood and looked to Anton whom seemed to still be asleep, a prime opportunity to play a trick on him. Ase held in a purr as she modified one of their fishing poles to make what looked like a large cat toy. There was a single hawk feather on the end in place of a hook. Holding the pole up she used it to make the feather tickle the side of Anton's face.

When Anton finally fell asleep, he slept deeply. Until he felt something brush his face. In a half-asleep daze, he tried to bat it away with one hand, assuming it was just a pesky fly. However when it persisted, he went on full alert, and sat straight up, looking around the room to see what it was. When he had deemed the room to be intruder-free, his eyes landed on the feather toy. He lunged for it, forgetting he was in a hammock, and was dumped unceremoniously on the floor. "Owwww," he groaned, gripping the back of his head. He looked up at Ase and glared at her. "I will have my revenge," he said, leaping up and leaping for the toy again, grinning at the chance to play a game.

"And here I was thinking I was the only cat around." Ase laughed. She pulled the feather just out of her reach and held it there. "I have some food made, it's not much but it will keep us going. I just hope this time it's at least eatable." She joked sighing.

Anton leapt up on the table, and then jumped off it, catching the feather in midair, landing in a crouch. "I win!" he crowed. "Well, then, let's eat so we can get going," he said, releasing the feather, and walking over to the fire place. He sat cross-legged in front of the fire, and looked back at Ase.
