you select an item you want to send by clicking on it in your inventory. then you hit the small envelope button below and write the nickname of the person you want to send the item to; you can also charge them for this item by writing the wanted amount of money in the "CoD fee" field.

How do I get it out of my wardrobe and into my inventory?

you find the item in the wardrobe and click on the red circle in the lower left corner of the item's logo, then confirm the removement.
