Sandy had stayed out of the main battle this time around. Instead she was on the walls being an archer. She had hit several bandits today and her father had even complemented her. She hated to show it, but the complement from her father made her glow with pride. Hailey, Peach, and Villy, her Zolnixis, were helping her get more arrows when she ran out and weren't tripping anymore. "I really need to train those three a bit more." She sighed the recent bandits had kept her from going far from the Haven. She walked down the path to get off the wall.

( I just noticed I forgot to mention if Amber noticed this bandits are attacking thing. She noticed it has happend, seeing the damage, but she wasn't in this one. She arrived when it was already over.)

"Pretty name. Sounds like something I might name one of my Vulnyxes! Er. That's a compliment, I promise." She rubbed the back of her neck, slightly embarrassed but forgetting it in light of the thought that a mushroom house could attack someone. She laughed. "Mushroom houses aren't Myconids! I mean, they come from the same area and are I guess distantly related, but... my house wouldn't attack anyone any more than one of these box houses would!" She pressed a hand to her mouth to stifle her giggles at the very thought.

"I'm Chrysalisa Cranberry. You can just call me Cranberry if you want, no one uses my first name but family and I wish they wouldn't either. One of the potion making Cranberrys out of Fungus Grove. Some people have heard of us." She gave a little shrug, not much minding it if she hadn't. "I train and breed Vulnyxes on the side. Mostly the training thing." She looked over to see Equinox fussing over Mango's fur like a worried mother, licking it and trying to groom it so that the lupora was as pretty as Solstice's dark fur now was; not a trace of blood on him, his wide, deep red ruff fluffed to perfection.

"Oh, yes, that's something I make sure of. I teach all my Vulnyxes to be sociable. Though with these three, I didn't have to teach them, they all just naturally were very friendly. Especially- hey, where's Lu?" She began looking for the pink flamed grey furred feline, but he was nowhere to be seen.

No, the grey and pink Vulnyx, who was not terribly bright, had followed the black and white warrior. Why? With Luau, it was hard to say; perhaps he was just curious. But he was sitting in the gate, not too far from Cranberry and Star, just at the foot of the steps that led down from the high outer wall that Sandy was on, and near the shop that Amber was in. His deep pink eyes were fixed on the warrior, studying her and her Sylesties.

"Come on, it seems like the battle's over. Let's go in..." Cranberry spotted Lu and sighed in relief. "So you have a breeding farm? But you like to battle too... I don't suppose you like to adventure?" She asked Star, and leaned on the gate next to Lu, giving him a nudge with her knee, silently scolding him for running off. But he didn't listen, he simply stood and stepped towards the black and white warrior, and Cranberry's eyes fell on her as she came out of the shop. She eyed the large bag of supplies that he; no, she? Yes, that was a girl, just a very tough girl; was carrying. Clearly the warrior girl had plans for an adventure or quest of some sort already. But maybe she might join her group anyway? After all, if the drawing on the map was true, who wouldn't want to join?

"Because I'm trying to get a group of adventurers together... I know, I know- what adventure could a potion maker have in mind? Its not collecting Myconid spores, I promise you that." She nodded to Star, but her eyes were still on the black and white warrior girl and her powerful looking pets. And she was completely unaware that she was in Sandy's way.

Star's eyes glowed with excitement. "ADVENTURE?!" She shouted in enthusiasm. What more luck could she get?! She was always stuck in Esior's Haven, her father and mother always fussing over that it was 'too dangerous' for her to outside of the home town. However...they only thought of Star as their little 2 year old baby even though she was already in her late teens of 15-19.

Star glanced over to the red head. "Cranberry...too long!" She snorted at her name. "I'd love to eat you!" She joked, but then gave Solstice a nuggy.

"Well, it IS long, and I'm gonna need to call ya Cran if that's alright with you! I don't have much experience in the outside world, but I love me some hunting! You should be experienced, pleased to be in your care." She said, grinning happily as she let go of the blood-colored vulnyx.

Pink Mango was feeling embarrassed, yet also another feeling she had yet not discovered. When mango had been a little pup, she did not feel anything, in both heart and physically. She did not yelp like the others when getting shots from a vet/doctor, or felt sad when her mother passed away. Instead, she went with her father quite often to train, which only made her stronger, with less emotion.

So...what was this feeling? Pink Mango pondered on the thought while the female vulnyx was still grooming her. Her owner, Star, had spoken of this before...when the pink headed girl had been on the bridge before.

It was most likely a feeling of...warmth? or it could've been that feeling called happiness...Oh, whatever. Pink Mango shook her head, forgetting all the hard thinking, and concluded it was just a feeling that brought joy to her.

Finally done with the grooming, Pink mango's eye began to stare at another sylesti, another vulnyx. It was probably her owner, Star's, friend's vulnyx. The girl named Cranberry, she recalled?

She saw a grey and pink vulnyx, and hopped after it. Finally, after catching up and entering the store, she nudged the vulnyx, curious to see if it was the black and white person's sylesti, or Cranberry's.

There was only one thing, the lupora had trouble solving. Was the black and white dressed person a girl, or a boy?

Sandy climbed down the stairs but when she reached the bottom stair someone was standing in her way. "Um.. excuse me but I sort of want to get down, off these stairs." 'I think she said adventure. I wonder what kind and if I could go too.'

Black the Zolnixi was looking at a gray/pink Vulnix who was looking at them. Being used at being looked at it didn't really matter to him but there was just something about this Vulnix that felt different. He nudged Amber, who had walked out of the store. She noticed.

She also noticed 2 girls looking her way. A fairy, and not a typical one either, interesting. And a ...uhm human sylestie mix? hulesty or maybe a syluman? Anyway a girl with fluffy ears and a pair of wings. She was no fairy though.

Anyway, she better start moving again. She looked at her 2 friends. They nodded. And the 3 started walking back to the entrance of the town. Which happend to be in the direction of those 2 girls.






(Question can we make the sylestie talk to eachother? That we type down what they say to eachother, but humans would only hear syletie animal sounds?)

However... they can high five you, and face palm, and as long as its nonverbal communication, go for it. They're pets of (sometimes) very high intelligence after all.

It's not saying about where they CAN'T talk in sylesti to eachother, so I can't be completely sure ^^"))

Star jumped up in amazement as she saw a black and white character come to life! She noticed the person in black and white staring hard at her ears and wings, not to mention her tail!

"Heyoooooou!" She mixed her words together as she ran to the girl swiftly. "DO YOU LIKE ADVENTURE?!" She said enthusiastically. She wasn't quite sure if this person was a guy or girl, but was definitely wanting to go on adventures with Cranberry and this person! The black zolnixi also looked very much daring!

Pink Mango appeared from behind the gray and pink vulnyx, sniffing for any smell of the girl named Cranberry. Finally, she decided the smell was the exact same as her owner's friend and looked up to see the black and white stranger. She stared long and hard, keeping her defense up while hiding it, and pulled back a bit.

Turning her glance, she saw a companion beside her. He looked grey, but still a bit black with white. She also stared long and hard to the male fox. Something about him made her feel like she needed to be on guard at almost all times. However...her owner would surely take a liking to this sylesti, Star and her breeding sense...

Amber, her Zolnixi Black and her Lupora Nameless stopped when the pink person suddenly was infront of her.

'uhm yeah I suppose so. ' She was used to random questions but this one caught her a bit off guard.

The Lupora looked annoyed. Black just looked. Her friend in the sky remainded in the sky for now.


(Could you guys maybe post pictures or links of the pets (or pet in you case star ) you have with you in your character sheet? ) It makes it easyer to check them out and find them among al your pets, and it's easyer to remember what they look like if I can give them a quick look over every few days. Edit: Thanks for posting your pet star, also berry I noticed your 3 vulnyx are all in tab 1 stable 1 now so they are easy to find, though new people might not know so maybe a pic of each pet where star and I posted out pets would make it easyer. )

"Are you heading out for an adventure now?!" She grinned happily, as Mango began to be more wary of the other lup. Star had always taken interests in any, and EVERY sylesti with a carried, or visible gene. She LOVED breeding, however, breeded Pink Mango a total of thrice, only to be shunned by the female lupora the fourth.

"Wanna go on an adventure with me?!" She said, looking back at cranberry who hadn't said much during the time of absence.

"The name's Star. I take you're...a boy?" She said, guessing and grinning her teeth up to her ears *Not literally, but you know what I mean XD*

"Your lupora looks like it doesn't enjoy Mango's company." She said, petting the zolnixi.

Amber sweatdropped (anime style a sweatdrop appears next to her face).

'I am a girl actually, My name is Amber and I just finnished an adventure. That was why I was out of stock and needed to buy new stuff. But truth is, I am always on adventures. I travel all the time. Or most of the time I should say.'

'My Lupora doesn't enjoy new people or sylesties. He often needs some time to warm up to others. Exceptions are hatchlings, kids, elves and submissive sylesties.'

Nameless just held a staring contest with the female Lupora.

Amber looked at the happy girl in front of her. She wanted to go on an adventure? Was that even safe? Amber became a little worried about her, Such a happy person with only 1 pet, she might get hurt or something.
