It took a lot of google-fu/Wikipedia-research, but I think so.. the answers all fit, at least. ^w^;;
Even if I did get them wrong it was still fun to try working them out.

I got about half of them just from the clues, and the other half from googling lists of common flowers and seeing if any of them matched the clues.

Yep, filled and sent in. I'm pretty sure I've got one down wrong though.

I'm hoping that I got it right. It took me awhile to get answers that all fit together and made sense to the clues. It was pretty difficult xD

Oh man, so I started this in the first few days of the fest, and got quite a few answers down, then got stumped by one and took a break....never to return! I honestly forgot I hadn't finished it until the last night of the fest, and at that point, I was too busy with other stuff XD
But yeah, I can definitely attest to it being difficult! Usually I have no issue with the Sylestia crossword or sudoku puzzles, and I have my MSc in evolutionary biology, and have had a focus on plants since undergrad. I know a lot about all sorts of plants, including species and genus names, common names, and identification. So yes, very tough! I was expecting to get it all done quickly, which is why I started doing it so early in the fest (wanted to get it out of the way), but it thwarted me.

Fai has posted the results for the crossword. I'm glad one down wasn't just me! I got everything else correct, so I'm happy with that. I really enjoyed doing it and I'm not a big fan of crosswords.
Congratulations to Onelegflamingo, Katasaur and Zelly. ^_^

I put clover for #1 because baby bunnies eat clover. It was all I could find. XD But now I understand why that one was so hard. No way we'd have gotten it with the amount of letters we had. =P

I put the exact thing as you did Angel, for the same reason cause I was like "The clue doesn't say baby /humans/"

I put clover too. As a child I used to actually suck the nectar out of the flowers. It was plentiful for the comparative size and very sweet. (I'm aware that I was a bit of an odd kid :P)
