Fawnstep blinks in surprise at Ripplefur's prophecy, and immediately thanks him. Then, she dashes straight to Needlestar and warns her of the coming danger. "As the bird shall sing, the strongest oak will fall, and the pines needles will stay. I have just received this prophecy from Ripplefur, and I think that the pine needles refer to you, Needlestar." Her eyes shine with worry. "What could it all represent?"

(Needlestar) Needlestar's fur ruffles after hearing Fawnstep speak. she thinks then says "if the needles mean me. then what about a singing bird and a strong oak falling?" she begins to pace and the prophecy keeps ringing in her head

(Birdsong) Birdsong leaves his warm nest with a yawn and a stretch and begins to walk out of the den. as he takes a step he feels a tail underneath his paw. his brother Oakfang, "watch it runt' he grumbles and rolls over with a hiss and Birdsong left the den. he sits under the shade of a tree and see's Needlestar pacing and thinks 'did something happen' he wonders

Appearance: her fur is the color of the blackest night, save for the two rings on the end of her tail and her left ear which are white. Her left eye is blue where the other is green. She has no scars at the moment.

Fawnstep paces with her leader, trying to make sense of the prophecy herself. "I hope that all of our cats will be safe..." She casts a glance around camp, taking note of Oakfang and Birdsong, and feels a pang of worry for the two warriors. Wait...an oak falling and a bird singing...it can't be! However, she keeps these thoughts to herself, unsure if they will help the situation and not wanting to worry Needlestar.

(Birdsong) Birdsong saw Fawnstep look at him and Oakfang and her reaction like as if she saw lightning bolt had struck the camp (in my mind). 'is she ok' he thinks and gets up and walks to Fawnstep. "is everything ok?" he asks and see's Needlestar and has a silent gulp.

(Oakfang) Oakfang yawned as his wriggled around in his nest and opened one eye. he saw Fawnstep, Birdsong and Needlestar. he unsheathed his claws in anger and quietly growled "she will never like a shy, pathetic runt like you" he silently growls and gets up and. walks to the fresh kill pile and picks out a mouse and eats while still giving a menacing stare at Birdsong

"Oakfang? Is something the matter?" The she cat ask as she walked in after a long day of hunting. "You look angry about something. Is everything alright?" Ebonypelt sat next to the tom and locked his ears in a soothing notion. "Come on you can tell me, I promise I won't tell anyone else."

Fawnstep tries her best to look relaxed and cheerful. "I'm fine. Thank you for asking, Birdsong. I was just talking to Needlestar about the coming weather." She flicks her tail in satisfaction. "How have you been faring?" Stay calm, Fawnstep, stay calm... Her eyes wander over and spot Ebonypelt in the distance, and she meows a greeting to her. "Hello, Ebonypelt!"

Ebonypelt looks up. "Oh hello, Fawnstep!" She bounds towards the she cat. "How are you on this lovely day? Would you care for some fresh kill? I managed to get quiet a lot of squirrels today, big data ones at that!" She meowed happily.

"Squirrels..." Fawnstep sighs happily before answering Ebonypelt. "Needlestar brought me one of your squirrels earlier, but thank you for the offer!" Talking abut Needlestar brought the prophecy back into her mind, but she quickly shook off the sense of foreboding that had gripped her earlier.
