I don't want to derail the research results, but does anyone know whether the perfume encounters count if you run and don't end up in battle? Or do they count towards the 15 total no matter what?

It ticks before the enemy encounter typing comes up, so even if you run from the battle it does count towards encounters.

So far, my perfume has worked pretty well. Especially since I've only been encountering them in the egg maze. I might try for one or two encounters on main fest zone area.

CORRECTION... I'm not gonna wander around the main zone since themed encounters seems to drop in likely hood in the main fest zone. I'm just gonna leave a tab open so I can chill next to the egg hunt zone and use my chances there
