"I don't even know my parents..." said Violet.

"And mine are dead." Gabriel patted Ray who had licked her hand, knowing her much it hurt her master when she thought about her parents.

"What ever it is we should not think on it any longer. I guess I will see all of you at the gates in the morning." Shadir gave them a small nod, took the folded map from the desk, and walked away Canis hot on his heels.

Alhena watched him leave. "I guess I'm off as well." She turns and leaves as well.


The next morning-


The sun was not even up yet, though the moon was low in the sky. Shadir sat on Mizar's back as he waited for the others. To think he was the only boy on this mission. He nearly smiled at himself but stopped before he did. Mizar was getting impatient and started to growl a bit as the first rays of sun started to break the horizon. "What is taking them so long Canis?" The boy asked the sleeping puffadore. Canis only raised an ear from his perch on the boys lap. "They should be here by now. Have they forgotten?"

Alhena yawned as she saddled her white horse, Camel. Camel nickered as the girl swung up onto his back before making him go forward. She had not slept well that night, he mind would not let her. She just could not wrap her mind around why Altair had chosen them for this job and no one else. She neared the gates as the first of light began to break. Claradon trotted along side the horse whoms hooves gave a soft click each time they hit the ground.

Gabriel saddled her black and white station. "Come of Castiel" the horse has bright blue eyes, which was unusual, although not un heard of. She lead the Castiel, Ray and Sypher to the gate, hoping she wasn't last.

Violet saddled her horse. It had one blue eye and one brown eye.
"Ya know leo, if you were any bigger I could ride you instead."
He seemed to chuckled, 'an assassin riding into town on a lion, very inconspicuous.' He seemed to say.

The sounds of hooves lit up the night. Shadir looked up seeing the three shadowy figures making there way to him. Mizar gave a faint roar at the up coming friends. He loved people maybe he loved them a bit too much. The boy sat up some from where he was sitting on the Bears back before he got off and climbed up onto his horse. Though he never really used a horse there was always a time for a first. He had to blend with the others that way no one would get suspicious of them. Mizar looked up at him and pawed the ground. "You can still come along buddy, I just have to look like the others alright? Maybe on the way home." His horse shifted from foot to foot nervously as the bear got closer to it. This horse was much like the others only it had a grey muzzle mixed in with its white body and grey splats every now and again. Canis was startled by the move though he did not complain but simply fell back asleep in his owners arms. The other horses drew near, causing Shadir to almost smile a bit. "What happened to the early bird gets the worm?" He asked in an almost joking tone.

Camel trotted to a stop beside the bear before he sniffed the strange animal. Alhena rolled her eyes at the horse and the boy. "Unlike you the rest of us actually need to get some sleep." She growled the words. She was still in easy about this whole mission. She always went alone, always yet now here she was going alone side three others. She did not like the change, it was not normal. All they were doing was slowing her down, getting in the way of her work. Claradon sniffed Mizar as well. Alhena had never seen a morkko before not in the wild or as a companion. The giant bear seemed nice enough though considering that he could easily kill them all yet he didn't. If she ever came across one she would need to get it, who knows maybe that could make her a better assassin. Now was not the time though they had a mission to see too. "You have the map right?" She asked and in return the boy handed over the neatly folded paper. Carefully she opened it and began to study. "Looks like there is a spot in Jerusalem that could have the piece, and one in Acer as well. The others I'm not too sure where they are." Alhena folded the paper up and slides it into her pocket. She looked to the boy and for the first time realizes that she did not know any of her partners names. 'I'll wait till they all get here, that way I only have to ask once.' She thought. Claradon hissed at the morkko before backing away, Mizar only cocked his head to the side and gave a wimpy roar before pawing the air at the cat like creature.

Violet and leo settled down beside Shair and Alhena. Her horse was well accustomed to Leo but the others, even the other sylestis weren't. "So we've got a choice between Jerusalem and Acer?"

"We could split up?" Surgested Gabriel.

"No there is a reason that Altiar sent us all on this mission, we need to stick together. What if there is a whole band of Templars just waiting for us to try and get there? I would rather have three other backing me up then one." Shadir sat up on his horse and urged it forward. "Come on then we need to be going before the guards get to their posts." Mizar walked along side the horse panting and sniffing as he went. He was a happy animal one that you could never really upset though he was known to shred Templars when he had the chance. He was always a laid back buddy that moved at his own pace. "I guess we should start this mission by telling names shall we? I'm Shadir, and this is my morkko Mizar, and puffadore Canis." He pointed to each as he named them. "I'm a 5th rank assassin about to move to my 6th rank."

'So the boy gets to ask first, great.' Alhena again growled. Camel instinctively followed the first horse, though he was still investigating the morkko. "I'm Alhena, I'm new to the 5th rank, but I can move on quickly." She bragged a bit. 'Maybe that will keep him at bay and off my tail' she again thought to herself. Claradon had fallen behind to greet the other Stylesti that were on the mission with them. "And that is Claradon, my vulynx. And Camel my horse." Shadir laughed lightly. "What's do funny?"

"Nothing. Nothing other than your horses name. Really Camel? You must explain." The boy said this with a light smile. They were safe for now so why not have a bit of fun? After all he was surrounded by the ladies.

"Because when is saw him at first my only fear was that I was going to end up with a camel. It stuck so I left it after everyone made fun of me. That was as well after I punched all of their teeth out." Alhena fell silent after staying this and looked at the ground. Shadir found an end to his laughter quickly.

"Violet Alveres. Adopted into the creed as a baby. Rank 7 assassin." She said, sounding quitw pleased with herself, "and this Leo. He'll claw your face off if you mess with either of us."

"Gabriel, rank 5. This is Ray and Sypher." She said, sounding shy.

The sound of thundering hooves came towars them. And hulted by their camp.
"I'm not too late am I?" Said the new comer. He has back hair and wore the assassin's garments. He road a midnight stead and had a ryori following him

Mizar's eyes grew large at the sudden new voice. He turned to the new comer and ran towards him sniffing the air as he went. Shadir stopped his horse. "I'm sorry are you coming along with us? I don't recall you being at the meeting." The boy said looking the new comer over. Canis growled suddenly which was not something he normally did. "Please excuse my Stylestis they tend to be a bit, excitable." Mizar was snorting at the new man sniffing his boots and leaving drool dripping from them. Shadir suppressed a snort of laughter as the morkko tried to steal the man's boots.

'Great more me.' Alhena growled. She tightened her grip on the reins before pulling the horse to a sudden stop. Claradon stopped as well looking a bit annoyed much like his master was. 'I swear I'm going to just leave them and do this mission on my own.' She thought and urged the horse on. They slowly pulled away from group leaving the others behind.

Gabriel followed after her.

"I wasn't. I just got back from a mission. I came after you as soon as Altair told me our mission." He said, his twin baby ryoris hovering around him.

Was this man telling the truth? But then why would anyone lie about a message from Altiar? Shadir looked at the man one last time before clicking his tongue to the horse to get it moving again. "Just try to keep alright? We need get to Jerusalem by noon. Come on Mizar leave the man's shoes alone." The morkko lets go of the new comers show and trorts to his place beside Shadir. He leans over and steals the man's shoe before they continued on. "I'm Shadir by the way. And the big morkko is none other than Mizar and the small one is Canis."

'Men, always with the men!' Alhena growled to herself as she carried on. "Come on you too we're wasting what little time we have! Do you really want the Templars to get the Piece?!" Claradon had climbed up in her lap now and was sitting in the saddle with her a content look on his face as he purred lightly. Camel was happily trotting along though one could tell he longed for a good run.
