The small girl entered her small house on the edge of the village. Inside the house was oddly spacious. A fire burned in the hearth. She headed right out back and began to skin the rabbits. A wolfish dog barked at her.
"Zwolf shush." She said and threw it a few entrails. "Happy now."

Buzon looked in the window and saw the dog. He jumped back, and flinched as someone screamed and dropped their pet. The black and white dragon looked as warriors started surrounding him. He growled. 'Good thing I ate..'

Buzon looked at the girl, she was protecting him. He ran up and stood by her. Buzon rubbed her side with his head. He then looked at the warriors and growled.

She rubbed his snout.
"Don't hurt him. He wasn't gonna hurt anyone."

"But he was looking in your window! I saw him look at his claws!" A random warrior shouted. "Yeah!" "I saw that too!" "He was eating a deer!" villagers and warriors started shouting.

"That doesn't mean I'll let you kill him. He's done nothing wrong" Although her words were strong inside she felt like her very soul was shattering. She was torn by her loyalty to her tribe, the people to save her life, took her in when she had no where to go and her sense of right and wrong. As well as her love an affinity for all living things.
She hunted because she needed to, because her family needed to be fed, and she needed the goods she got from trading the meat.
Despite this for each life she took she thanked it for its life and thanked the gods for providing for her with what she needed.
