She paused when she heard a faint yell. She handed the toolkit to the puffadore. "Make sure to return it after the blackout."

''Sure, i just nead to change the batery on my computer, that will not take more then five minutes.'' He grab the tool in one hand, turn his laptop with the other one, the spare batery under his shoulder. He take out the old battery and put the spare one instead. '' There you go, now i can work until power comme back. If you want you can stay with me, those candle dosn't light a lot and that look like a ritual or somthing ...''

"No I'm fine." she said. "I like fire."

''All right but don't put the fire at the lodge ok ? I prefer hot then cold but still. I warn you l let the door oppen so that may get a little bit noisy.''

Celeste sat in the corner of her room, bundled in a white fluffy blanket. Her eyes were wide and filleted with fear, staring at the light in the middle of her room that struggled to stay on, it was the only light in the building that barely hung on. "Kalan! Get in here!" She yelled to the Lighira hatchling, who was in her room, catching z's. "What? Are you scared again? You're such a baby!" Kalan yelled, hopping off of her bed and wandering into the living room, where Celeste was. "Obviously this place doesn't have a good generator..." Kalan said, swishing her tail as she huddled next to Celeste. "Well, it's not my fault." Celeste said, wrapping her tail around the hatchling. Minutes passed.... Kalan looked up to Celeste, curiousity in her gaze. "Do you hear that? There's people talking in the halls." She stated, looking towards the door, silhouettes of bodies passing by the doors crease. "Yes, I hear.. But do you really want to go out?" Celeste asked, sighing. "Yes, of course!" Kalan said, smiling. The gray and pink Lighira hatchling dashed to the door, opening it fast and rushing into the hall. "Wait for me!" Celeste said, running to the hall, turning back at the flickering light before doing so.

Skye's head jolted up as the lights went out, her eyes flashing open. She fully expected to see someone with a knife right behind her, ready to slit her throat, but there was nothing. She blinked several times. It made no difference. "I should have kept an extra light," she muttered as she began stretching her wings, preparing for takeoff. "I wonder what the others are doing?"
Thorne sighed as the game shut down. "And we were so close to beating the level, too!" Rayge exclaimed, and she could see the fury he was named for beginning to flare, illuminating his eyes.
"Hey, Rayge, calm down. We can always start over once the power comes back."
He rested his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes like she had taught him, and focusing on his breathing. He slowly felt himself relaxing, and when he felt like he could talk again, he opened his eyes and looked at Thorne. "Now what?" He asked his roommate.

She retreated back to her dark apartment. She mumbled things and laughed to herself. She made a pillowfort with blankets and couch cushions. She sat inside it, staring at a candle flickering. She dropped the candle on her foot/paw. "NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" She screeched, patting out the fire that had started on her fur. She muttered curses under her breath. She looked at her phone as she went to get ice. "36%?" She growled. "Darnit..."
