No problem. I have one up for newbies too. I've been on for about 3 months now. Little less then maybe. But I've been breeding my pets so I have a lot of pets with 2 or more traits even though you can't see the carried ones. Don't have the moneys for test kits all the time.

This place is one of several breeding sims I'm on, I took the breeding experience from some of the others and tweaked here until I got used to what worked and would produce visibles...and now my hatchery is full of critters with visible traits. I tend to release parents that do NOT produce visible traits so they don't get bred again, along with markingless offspring.

Yeah. I figured out that if a carried gene mates with another with a carried or visible in the same slot it makes it highly likely that a trait from either in the same slot will pop up visible. So now its just patience and lots of breeding.
