"Looking at the sun rise, Prince- er, Ashun?" Astoria asked, cocking her head at the Zolnixis behavior. The prince nodded and looked at the Lupora. "My dad rises it each morning and sets it each night." "Are you sure?" the heiress asked, joining Ashun at the windowsill.
"Well, that's what I think." "Queen Sonne said he was dead?" At the wince she received, Astoria figured that bringing that up probably wasn't the best idea. "Yeah.. last month. I think that he races across the sky, bringing the sun up. And that he stops at noon to say hello to the Earth, and then races back down to let the moon rise."
"I'm sure he'd love that," Astoria replied, eyes glued to the rising sun. Ashun nodded slowly and turned toward the princess. "What do you think?" "I think that Solaris* races across the sky, leading the sun to the other side of the world. Then his sister, Vaeluna, races across the sky leading the moon. And they chase each other, having so much fun."
They heard footsteps and a servant poked her head in. "Is everything alright, Princess Astoria, Prince Ashun?" "Yes, Honey. Thank you."
*: Since no sun god/goddess is mentioned, I just made one up :P

*Sigh* I get it. It's been forever. Minecraft has taken over my life.
Chapter Five... I think? Not sure.
The days since Astoria's parents death had been a blur. Imperitus had been basically torturing the kingdom, and Ashun had been sent off with his mother many times during meals. The Lupora didn't know what happened in there, but the Zolnixis- both of them, actually- came out looking dazed and confused.
Today was the day she found out. She wasn't eating, which was actually quite new for her, and Imperitus was confused and irritated. So, he sent her off with Honey, one of the servants.
Honey knew where to go. She walked out of the dining hall, then took a passage to the right. The two climbed a staircase up one of the five towers, the one in the very center, and the servant took a small passage to the left.
Astoria was nervous and excited. She finally got to talk with Ashun about something they both had in common. The pair had become distant. It seemed whatever was in the room had brainwashed him, in a way, and left him thinking of something that wasn't talking to the Lupora heiress. Otherwise, they had nothing to talk about, being opposites. Astoria was a girl, Ashun was a boy. She was one of night, he was one of day. Complete opposites.
She bumped into Honey as she stopped and Honey looked at her with- wait, what happened to the warm amber eyes that the Lupora once knew? Instead, there were cold, hard amber eyes that glared at Astoria. Whatever was up here, it had changed everyone she knew. And not for good.
Honey growled and opened the door, motioning for the other Sylesti in the small hallway to go into the pitch black beyond the door. Astoria ducked her head and flattened her ears, suddenly very very afraid. Whatever was in there, it was not something you'd see regularly.
She walked in slowly, and once she was in the dark room fully, the door slammed behind her. The Lupora whirled around, only to find a wide expanse of black. She turned around slowly this time, her eyes watering up in fear. No, I will not cry, she thought. I will not.
Suddenly a smooth voice rang out, "Welcome, Princess Astoria. I see you've misbehaved. Now, that's not very good, is it?" A light flicked on, making the princess able to see a soft comfortable chair with a fireplace next to it. Astoria hesitated, before walking forward slowly to sit in the chair. "Yes, yes," the voice soothed. "Sit down, dear."
As soon as she sat down, the heiress felt calm, at peace. A mug of a steaming, black liquid appeared before her on the table, and she reached over to drink it. The perfect temperature. But something was off.
There was a part of her screaming to get up, and get out of the room as fast as possible. "But why would you dear? This is perfectly normal. Perfectly fine. Perfectly perfect." The voice repeated the last sentence over and over, and eventually Astoria fell asleep.
An unknown amount of time later
When Astoria woke up, she was in her bed with Ashun looking at her fearfully. "Are you alright?" He asked. "Fine," Astoria muttered groggily. "Are you sure?" Yawning, the Lupora nodded. "I'm perfectly normal, Ashun. Perfectly fine. Perfectly perfect." Ashun reeled back in shock. "What?" "That's what someone said to me!" "When?" "When.. when.. I don't remember.." Astoria laughed, unusual for her. "What do you mean, you don't remember?"
There was a knock on the door. "Come in," Astoria said, climbing out of her bed. Honey came in, watching the other Lupora carefully. "The Sylvorpa, Faelora, and Bulbori kingdoms have arrived." "Any others?" Honey shook her head. "Just those three are coming. The Princesses and Princes are coming to the dining hall to meet with you two, whilst the Kings and Queens are staying in the courtyard with King Umbra and Prince Imperitus."
The two nodded and followed the servant to the dining hall. The Sylvorpa was sitting down to the right of the head of the table, while two Bulbori were sitting to the left. There was also a Faelora sitting next to the Sylvorpa. All in all, a weird bunch.
The green Bulbori was a boy named Tourmaline, the blue one a girl named Sapphire. There was also a Faelora, who was a boy, named Cervos. Lastly, the Sylvorpa was a girl named Piscis. "Hello!" Piscis said, grinning. Her angler fish lights were flickering on and off, the language of the royal Sylvorpa family.
The others said hello, talked for a bit, and went there separate ways. The other kingdoms were staying for a week, then heading off to their own kingdoms.
All of the new Sylesti featured are in my saved generator designs. Most of the names are Latin or Greek for things that they're species is associated with. Also, Honey will be made as soon as possible. Hope you've enjoyed the long chapter!
EDIT: Honey has been made! Yes, she has the armour thingy on, and yes, she looks freaking boss. I know :3

Chapter 6 Special Chapter! Ashun's POV
It was one of those days. The days he argued with Imperitus, and got sent to the "room", as he now dubbed it. He loved every minute of it, though. Some days, he purposely argued with the Lupora to go into the room. Most, though, he didn't think that what Imperitus did or said was right. It was one of these days today.
Ashun walked quietly behind his mother. As soon as they reached the door, Queen Sonne turned around. "Look, I.." she stammered, clearly at a loss for words. Taking a deep breath, she started over. "Ashun, you can't just keep arguing with Prince Imperitus." The heir sighed. "Yes, mother, I know." "Also," she said in a more clipped tone. "Don't speak to Princess Astoria, do you hear me?" Ashun jerked his head up. "Wait, what?" "I said, do not talk to the Lupora princess." "But mother-" "No but's, Ashun."
Defeated, Ashun stepped ahead of his mother and opened the door, walking into the black expanse. Immediately the voice came. "Here again, Prince Ashun? Tsk tsk, that's very un-royal of you, now is it?" The light flicked on and the prince subconsciously walked over to the comfortable chair. "You should know when to quit, Ashun." "I do know." "Then why don't you stop?" The voice asked. The Zolnixi sighed and muttered, "Just do your thing." "Ah, nope."
"What do you mean, nope?" "I mean, we'll be doing something different today." Ashun narrowed his eyes and looked around. Suddenly, right in front of him, was a blue Ryori with purple fog twisting around her, and elegant blue gems hanging off of her in a beautiful array.
The Ryori flicked her ears in the princes general direction and the purple fog surrounding her wrapped around him. Ashun felt drowsy, but resisted the urge to fall asleep. In a soothing voice, the same one that scolded the heir earlier, the Ryori said, "Hello, my dearest. I see you've come to... play." Suddenly, the scene changed.
It was the morning Ashun had first really talked to Astoria. Wait, but who was Astoria? Was she the young Lupora that made him knock over the candle, or was she the honey colored servant near the end of the vision? Then, his mind went blank. Darkness filled his head, and a voice spoke up. "You agree with everything Prince Imperitus says," the voice soothed. "You hate Princess Astoria. You follow your mothers, Prince Imperitus and King Umbra's commands. You sit silently at meals and do what you are told. You are the heir of the Zolnixi throne."
The voice continued, and eventually Prince Ashun was filled with false memories, his old ones taken and stored away. "I agree with everything Prince Imperitus says. I hate Princess Astoria. I follow my mothers, Prince Imperitus and King Umbra's commands. I sit silently at meals and do what I am told. I am the heir of the Zolnixi throne," he said sleepily.
The next thing he remembered, he was in the Lupora kingdom guest room and a servant, Honey, was calling his name. "Prince Ashun, it is time for dinner." Nodding, the heir stood up and made himself presentable, before heading downstairs and sitting across from his mother. Someone crept up next to him and sat down quietly. It was Astoria.
"What do you want?" He spat. The Lupora didn't say anything. "I said, what do you want?" he repeated impatiently. "I want to talk to you," she said quietly. "Why would I want to talk to you?" Astoria's eyes widened, and they both missed Queen Sonne and Prince Imperitus sharing a glance of completion.
They had done it. They had successfully convinced Prince Ashun to hate Princess Astoria forever.
The new Ryori is in my saved generator designs, and she is the most recent one.
