Vallen has rather dull preferences - things he likes include the quiet, peace, music and reading. Because of this, one can easily find him in a library, dozing off or reading a book - and when he's not enjoying a good read, he's under a shady tree somewhere enjoying nature.
However, aside from everyday, common likes, he does have certain, more uncommon things he loves. Such as hacking and performing heists - both of which are preferences very few people know, and for good reason. Aside from these noted likes, Vallen does have a soft spot for other things, animals included, even if he doesn't seem to love them very much.
D i s l i k e s
Well, Vallen doesn't like too much noise - as stated, he prefers the quiet. Senseless noise grates on his nerves, and if it's loud... he's more than likely to show displeasure. Aside from loudness, when the environment's too bright, he'll be inching for whatever form of shade he can get his hands on.
As a hacker, he absolutely hates it when what he works on doesn't save, be it code or plans. As a phantom thief, it'd be screwing up and nearly landing himself in a pair of handcuffs. There's a few other normal things he dislikes, such as pain, not being able to complete something he's been working on and being beaten - though it'll only push him to do better.
S t r e n g t h s
Having been training himself as a phantom thief before the whole 'Elite' business, Vallen finds himself being quite agile, dexterous and flexible. He's also good with guns and knives, his usual choices of weapons when on a nighttime heist. However, due to his background, he's proficient with swords and bows as well, having a rather good aim.
Aside from these skills, he also had to pick up acrobatics and hacking to aid in his heists. Acting, lock-picking, pickpocketing and disguising were also things he had to learn quickly if he wanted to be successful. Besides this, Vallen is also smart, and is loyal. He's also rather good with pranks, something he likes to do from time to time, if he's not out tricking people in some other manner.

Vallen has speed, but strength is a completely different matter. He's not physically powerful - about average strength, if not slightly weaker. Further, he's still young; he's inexperienced, and that means he's prone to making mistakes, be they due to lack of practice, information or his own emotions.
He's not very proficient with social skills either, and while he does have friends, he can be socially awkward from time to time. Team sports isn't a strong point either - while he's rather ok with athletics and sports, having grown up with few close friends and family members, and having solo moonlight jobs causes him to be rather confused in team situations. He's not a very good team player, due to being so used to working on his own on so many occasions, but he does feel bad about this inefficiency.
P e r s o n a l i t y
Vallen has two main sides to his personality - his usual, everyday quiet and docile self, and his boisterous and cocky thief persona which comes out during heists. Normally, he's rather passive and lacks presence - he doesn't stand out, and without him actively trying to be notice, few people realise he's there. Yet he possesses a kind and serene aura about him that makes him approachable, and many find him easy to talk to, even if he can be socially awkward at times.
Coming from a respectable family, Vallen grew up with certain teachings in mind - be courteous, be charming, remember your manners and don't be forceful. These teachings remain with him in both personalities, and while he can be teasing and insulting at times in either persona, he remembers to not cross too far if he can help it. And obviously, if he can avoid it, he'd rather not fight, nor force someone to do something. Manners is another priority, and he's careful to be polite and kind.
When night falls, Vallen's a bit more active than his usual tired self - he's making a scene as a phantom thief, purposely allowing himself to be caught on cameras and such as he challenges himself to steal various things. Of course, he always wear his signature outfit and masks on heists, and is careful to return the items or steal from those who could stand to lose some. While more adventurous and loud, several of his normal self characteristics spill over - he's still caring and loyal, for example, and will make sure his friends and family are alright even if it risks exposing his identity.
