(Sorry it's taken me so long to reply)

As Ryder walked home, her hands stuffed deep into her pockets, she sighed. She had been fired, and didn't have to money she needed to feed herself and Criptic. She could of course steel what she needed, but that would draw to much attention to her area and she didn't really like to steal from those who weren't filthy rich. The rich could adore to be robed, convenience store owners, not so much. Pushing her tired legs into a jog she made it to her "residence" quickly. She had to move up her time table. She needed that money now...tonight. Be early closing her eyes she took a deep breath and let it out slow, "Criptic, we are going steal those rich Walkers tonight" she told her Zolnixi. Whining Cripyoc coveted his head with his paws, he hated it when she was reckless.

5 hours later
Climbing up the tree next to the walkers security fence she balanced on a thin branch, looking down at Criptic where he would await her return she jumped. Using the dexterity of the young branch she launched herself up and over the fence. Spinning in mid air she landed with bent knees. Good, now for the next step. Like poking up at the cameras that lined the house she quickly ran and weaved through the yard through the the Canada's blind spots. Reaching the back Padio door she stilled and took out her lock picks. They had hard locks to crack, but not as hard as they would be if they where key card locks. Working her lock picks into the lock she stuck her tounge out of her mouth in concintestion. Finaly she heard a click and the door swing in on nicely oiled hinges. She always heard a grin before slipping inside. Wuickly drawing back as she thought she was a camera she smiled, just a trick of the shadows. Little did she know, it was not, thankfully as she made her way up the stairs the mini camera didn't see her hole face. Just her reddish brown hair pulled up into a tight bun, the side her beautiful face obscured in shadows, and her fitted black top and leggings. As she reached the top of the grand staircase she turned right and crept down the hallway. Reaching the woman's room she opened the door and watched the sleeping forms of the Wallets with keen eyes. After making sure that they wouldn't wake she made a b-line towreds the woman's jewelry box. Taking a small box of tissues out of a pouch hanging from her side she started to wrap the woman's most precious and expensive jewelry in rogues before placing them gently in the pouch. She took such beau rifle pieces, a jade and gold ring, large diamond earring, an Onix, Obsidian, Dismond, and silver necklace, and so much more. Just as she was wrapping up the last item, a pure gold and Dianond studded ring , she heard the pounding footsteps of guards. Crickets! How did they know she was here, she had been so carful. As the Walkers started to stir and the footsteps neared, she looked around desperately for an escape, her eyes landing on the balcony. Hurrying out the glad balcony doors she shuddered and get asked the railing. Flipping herself over it she grasped the rugh cut stone of the house and started maneuver off the balcony and into the wall. As she climbed down she could here the frantic activity of the gaurds, and now the loud high pitch wailing to of Ms. Walker. Landing with bent knees Ryder raced through the yard, her face covered by soft material of her fitted shirt, her thin armband tattoo now visible, as well as the small silver pockets watch that hung around her neck. Catapulting up a tree neer the security fence she jumped over and raced towreds Criptic. The sight that greeted her formed tears in her eyes. They had him, Criptic fought with all he was worth but the three men eventually subdued him. Vowing to come back for her only friend, she left him whimpering on the ground. The loud sound of sirens grated on her ears as she ran towreds her "residence." Tears falling from her eyes like a waterfall. Falling through the front door she collapsed on the ground and silently sobed. The treasures in her pouch forgoten, but not Criptic, oh poor poor Criptic. What would they do to him? Would he be ok?

Tori~

I was driving to work when I noticed a commotion. A group of three men were wrestling with a sylesti. "This will be fun," I muttered as I skidded to a stop. It seemed that the owner may have been a robber like me. Glad I had brought Sarafine with me, I hopped out of the vehicle with her trailing behind me. "Sarafine, attack." My voice was a low whisper as we both slunk quietly forward. As the men started dragging it to the truck I looked at Sarafine, and nodded. She went around the side of the vehicle, out of veiw, and started scratching it. "You two, go see what's going on, I'll put the sylesti in the vehicle." This was my chance. Lunging, I pressed his face into the dirt, but he had already seen my face. Sighing, I stabbed a needle with a unknown substance in it into his shoulder and beat him up while he attempted to scream, squeezing his shoulder pressure points as hard as I could to make him pass out. "Let's give him something to remember me by." This was always the hard part. Trying to get this over with, I lit something on fire and put the flames to his forehead, giving him bad burns, and a permanent scar. Then I went and helped Sarafine with the other two. The needles I had injected into them would stop them from remembering this at all. So I would be safe. There was now police lights in the distance, so I ran away with the sylesti, leaving the dudes with bad burns and memory loss.

( Yay! Zara's back.)

Matt sat across from the woman. "My name is Ikena Goldsworth. I am a major competitor in sylesti beauty contests. Yesterday evening after a fine competition my prized Nephini Maya went missing. I went out to the stables to give her a bedtime treat and she was gone. I need to get her back without the fuss a police investigation would cause. A number of my relatives also compete. If they found out they would make things...difficult for me. I will pay you well."

Matt leaned back one hand rubbing his chin as he studied this woman. He did not like politics or the upper crust social manner, on the other side he never got such a high end client and such cases paid well. Even though most were just cases of petty pranks and jealousy. With his bank account low he could use the income. The thought of his upcoming bills made up his mind.

"Very well I will need a way to question your suspected relatives without them knowing who I am."

(To be continued).

(It was never meant as an insult. We were just waiting for your post. Also the sylesti terms are that you see the RPG to the end to get your sylesti. If anyone drops out of the RPG there would be no reason for me to continue to modify the pets they picked. So it is important for me to know if a person is going to stay in or not, so I'm not wasting my time working on a pet that will never be given out. So if you are going to leave, or at least be gone for awhile I would appreciate the heads up so I know what to do with the Sylesties I am still feeding and working on.)

Collecting herself she slowly peeled herself off the floor and stumbled over too the sink. Slashing water into her face she sucked in a breath and looked around. Grabbing the police radio she had...obtained, she turned it ok. As she listened to the crackling of the radio and the frantic chatter of the police oficers she gritted her teeth. Crickets! The police didn't have Cryptic, and they didn't know who did. At least if the police had nabbed Cryptic she could semi easily steal him back, but if she didn't know who had him, than how could she get him back!?

(I was just joking... And if they're being inactive you should just send them a message to make sure.)

Tori~

I had followed the girl who I assumed owned the sylesti in my van as the sylesti sat in the back with Sarafine. It had been scared at first, but sarafine had calmed it down quickly. For the first few minutes of driving I had had to make a few risky moves but I had long lost the police by now, those ******s. Silently I pulled up and walked up the pathway a few minutes after the girl disappeared into the house. Just before I walked up to the house I loosely tied a message around the sylesties leg. It said:That was a risky move fellow thief. Don't do it again. Ps. You're a coward for leaving behind your poor stylesti when it needed you most, even if you would be arrested for saving it. After I tied the small peice of paper to the sylesti's leg, I picked it up and walked up to the house while Sarafine waited in the van. My finger reached out and rang the doorbell. Then I was gone before she had a chance to see me or my vehicle. She would look outside to see an empty road.

As she heard the doorbell ring she peeked out the window to see Criptic standing at the door. Rushing to the door she threw it open and embraced Cripric. "How did you get here Cript?" She wispered. As Cripric lifted his leg to her chest she finally saw the note. Fuming as she read the note she took it off Criptics legs and crummpled it into a ball. Quickly ushering Criptic into the house she threw the note into the trash. "That "fellow thief" knows nothing" she hissed. Kneeling down she held Criptivs face "I'll always come back for you, I'll never leave you. You know that cryptic" she murmured. Smiling as Criptic nuzzled her she started to pack up their stuff and erase the evidence of their inhabitants.
