The demo videos were really awesome. There are times when I wish I could get to some of these cons... to do stuff like that. But it's never gonna happen. :( Nothing is ever done in the UK and flying to America or europe is too expensive.

Don't feel bad, the only con I've ever been to was a papercon.. oh yes, a convention about paper. lol.

I guess I am pretty lucky that we do have comiccon's over here. ^^ They are no where near as big as the American ones or what not, but since the UK is so small I'm usually able to go to any if not all of the conventions here if I can so afford. It fuels my cosplay hobby that's for sure.

Hey I'd actually like that XD. My gran does a lot of homemade card making so it'd be a great place to pick up nice things for her :)

Most of the big cons are too far out of my way to make it plausible to go.

The papercon was interesting.. it was cool to see some of the specialty papers that paper companies were working on. Tons of free samples too. :) I don't think I've ever seen so much paper before in my life, but it was way to much for just one day hah.

I guess that's my advantage of living reasonably central UK. The longest journey is around 5-6 hours by coach and around 3 on a train.

Free Samples!!! XD Can't go wrong with free samples haha.

I used to play WoW a lot, but I stopped playing the game years ago. I remember leveling up my first character (Tauren shaman) just before BC came out. Then I was right into it during BC and WotLK. I was mainly a casual player; I liked playing for the leveling up/exploration and the lore. I did a bit of everything without being overly good at anything: bg, raids, RP...I really liked running Karazhan, Ahn'Quiraj, and all the raids in Outlands. But I was mainly a quester, overall. When achievments came out, I think I did nearly every single quest in the entire game.
