Nixi turns to the welcoming voice behind her and tilts up to meet the eyes of a girl in line behind her. She darts her eyes back and forth from Dragon to person a few times before settling on the girl. "Oceanmist Nightswimmer." Her voice has dropped a few levels to a much more hushed tone as she rattles off her full name without any real explanation that it is in fact her name. People either hated her or took to her like sugar, it was a hit or miss for Nixi she was just hoping this one wouldn't be as big of a miss as it had been with the rather large beast in front of her... who was roaring with hunger quite literally.
"I'm sure the line would have been shorter if you had gotten here sooner..." It was meant more that had he not been stuck in the doorway behind her but once the phrase left her mouth Nixi knew it wasn't the right choice of words. Curse her elven tongue...

Nyzaennath whips around and glares at Nixi, his nose inches from hers as he snorts smoke in her face and growls deep in his throat. "Then maybe I should eat you instead." He licks his lips. "You look like a tasty little morsel." That should scare the wits out of her, he thinks with an internal chuckle, little pest.

"Hey Toothy!" Victoria shouts. "Pick on someone your own size."

Nyzaennath instantly comes face to face with Victoria "What did you say?" He asks, his voice quivering with suppressed rage.

"Pick on someone your own size!"

"I can pick on whoever I want." He growls dangerously.

"Is that so?" She asks, then slaps the dragon across the face.

Nyzaennath looks startled for a moment, before quivering with barely suppressed fury, he shoots her a glare deadly enough to kill a grown horse as he turns around.

"Don't worry, I got your back." Victoria says, and suddenly she's smacked by a large, angry, draconic tail that sends her sprawling across the floor.

((This whole event has caused quite a disruption in the mess hall, luckily none of the teachers have noticed, yet.))

Nixi's already wide eyes nearly double in size at the events unfolding. If ever there was a time she could be charming now would sure as heck be a good time to use it. "Hey- now. All of this seems a little outa hand- don't you think? Clearly there are way too many by-standers to have a full on brawl right here." Her voice is sweet, a little over forced but playful all the same. Her rounded eyes playing on the large dragon as she smiles a sharp-toothed grin up at him. Her hands out before in a calm but offensive stance.

"I'm fine with helping sooth over your hunger- if you like stringy, tasteless meat- or, I've got a better idea." Her head tilted to the side slightly exposing more of the odd shape to her ears as she tentatively stepped closer to the enraged beast. Her body seemed to at ease, almost calm despite the full blown panic she was living in her mind. "Let's you and I- head out side and I can show you the liveliest fresh water mountain stream in these parts..." Her shoulder played at a shrug that add more to a dare with a faint raise of her brow as she offered to give up her own personal hunting ground.

The large green dragon looks confused. No cowering in fear? He thinks. Instead she puts on a friendly smile and speaks with perfect reason? Hmm, maybe she's stronger than she looks? Never one to refuse a dare the dragon says, eyes narrowed. "Very well, show me the way, Pest." He spits out the last word. "Oh, and you might want to hang on." He continues, grinning devilishly before scooping her up in his talons and leaping into flight, soaring up, up, up though the mountain and bursting out the aerial entrance.

Victoria gets up just in time to see Nyzaennath flying off, Nixi being carried in his claws.

Nixi swallows down her scream as the beast grabs her up and takes off. She's never flown before, sure she's fallen off of things, jumped off even more but honestly flown? This was nothing like she thought. It was pure terror. Her body hung out form the grip around her middle so her legs and head dangled.
"Oh- no. No. No. Too high!" Her long thin fingers grab that the hook like talons around her and snake their way up the leg until she has a firm grip of her own. "I can't see up this high! I've... I've never had to find it above the tree line!" Her hair flaps around her showing off her ears fully and exposing the red lines that run across each side of her neck. Her sharp teeth bright in the sunlight as she tries to coax the Dragon back to the ground.

"CAN YOU EVEN HEAR ME?! HEY! I NEED TO GET UNDER THE TREES!" Her voice doesn't hold much weight against the wind, never once to speak too loudly Nixi finds it hard to scream without her voice breaking into a horrid screeching like sound. The sound of her own jewelry clattering and tinging around her fills her ears as she tries to sit up some and hug the leg holding her. "HELLO?"

Nyzaennath brings down his head to look at her, grinning through his fangs. "What's wrong?" He chuckles. "Scared of heights?" He begins a slow spiral downwards, spinning down, down, down to the earth below. He lands by a rocky pool flanked by spindly evergreens and he sets her down by the steaming water before splashing into the deep end, sending up a cascade of hot water.

Victoria sighs, Nyzaennath, ugh, what a jerk. She thinks to herself. Well, she couldn't fly and Tessa is, well, busy, so there isn't much she could do. She gets her food and goes to find a table, she looks around for a bit before walking up to Flynn and Yuri's table "Is this spot taken?" She asks, gesturing to one of the stools.

Back on the ground Nixi stands and dusts off her very little clothing, mostly checking her bare skin for marks or wounds. Finding only red marks form being gripped she looks up just in time to be hosed down with rather grossly warm water. Her nose wrinkles at the idea of it and turns away from the beast to get an understand of just where it was they landed. "I'm not afraid of heights... I've just never been up that high before. Like I said, I know my..way...down...here!" Finding the right path just to the right of the trees Nixi turns back with enough force that her rather short skirt ruffles some. "So, how about we find us some fish?" Her eyes lock on the dragon as her now, very damp hair frames her murky looking skin.

Turning away from the water soaking beast Nixi heads down the path some so that the only thing that can been seen of her in the shadows is the light gleaming off her jewelry around her wrist and ankles. She takes no time to wait and see if she's being followed, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if she lost what ever his name was and could get back to the girl from before. But she wasn't going to take off in a run and chance being hunted down either. This way, at this pace, what ever happened, happened and Nixi was no more or less to blame.

Nyzaennath looks at her retreating form thoughtfully. He could stay in the hot spring, or he could follow and eat fish. Hmm, fish... He leaps out of the hot spring, shaking off his wings as he soars over the forest, spotting Nixi he lands behind her, knocking down a few trees in the process.

The sound of crashing trees sent small animals scattering deeper into the wood but Nixi never let her startle show. She kept a false calmness as she walked on. Her lanky limbs swaying slightly as she seemed to drift in and out of the shadows. "It's just up here. A ways..." Not once did she turn back to face him instead she just darted in between the trees and laughed slightly as she wandered on before coming back to the tree line and sizing up the beast. "You... aren't going to fit in here without taking out half the trees..."
