I think people don't like that they have to pick the pet only to be told that pet is not for auction.

The idea itself is fun giving people some room to pick^^

But I do think you should make a list that says wich pets or tabs with pets that you will not auction so people know which pets they can chose from.

Once people know what pets they can chose from they might pick one faster
