No worries!!! Take all the time you need!! (That will give me enough time to make the gold so I'm not completely broke xD) But your progress is looking really good on those lups!!! I might have to order one of my wolf OC >.< You are going to make me broke with your gorgeous arts!!!
Very true!! Neither sound very good xDD I would rather be in the Arctic right now x3
Ugh that sounds gross!!!! Poor UK, although that means they haven't had to deal with either of our heats until now soo...

Sorry, i keep having replies open on my laptop, then it dies and i lose the ping orz
Yeah, i only ask for half when i get sketch approval, and with a big background like that it should take a bit longer, so. Plenty of time!
Ehe, the last time i drew a wolf was a looong time ago, and i totally didn't attempt to learn anatomy. Wolf OR humanoid! Should probably redraw that.
I might add 'repeat customer' to my discounts! I'd have to figure that one out, my only other one is for friends and that's more of a negotiation than a discount ('you get free art!' 'No i HAVE to pay you!' 'Nooooo!' 'TAKE IT!' 'Nooooo!' '[insert plausible reasoning to accept payment]TAKE IT' 'FIIIINE'), heh.
I'm currently wiped out on the floor of the second coldest room of the house. I'd love some ice and penguins right now...
Yeah, my friend says it averages like, 60 F most of the year. Plus all that London rain? Ridiculoisly jealous. Best weather to curl up with a warm drink and a book or movie...
Edit: that stuff you sent me, a) what's it for? and b) you sent two of the golden ones...

And that is a great drawing!!!!! I wish I could draw like that to be honest xD Oh well, practice makes decent I guess ;)
And I'll definitely make use of that discount if you implement it xD I love art too much lol!!!

Anything I could say for feedback Cyanidae has already explained. Looking at photos and then looking for basic shapes is how a lot of good artists start. I wish I'd started doing that much earlier, rather than stubbornly trying to draw things from memory or from other people's art because "I don't do realism". Ugh. But even when doing something stylistic or cartoony, it's best to use the real thing as a base, and then just exaggerate or simplify where it suits you.
However, one thing I will add is that I don't just look at shapes. When it comes to animals, I actually look for images of their skeletons and start learning all of their joints and where their limbs connect. Then I compare it to the full fleshed live versions. A lot of my sketches don't start with filled out shapes, but rather a series of lines, with occasional shapes for the bigger bones like the skull, pelvis, and ribcage area. Using this method, I find it much easier to draw different poses.
When drawing humans I do the same thing. Circle for head, tapered oblong for ribs, wedge for hips, and the rest are lines with small circles at each bendable joint. I then draw them essentially naked. THEN I add the clothes. That way everything 'fits' or lays properly.
Also, reading the two of you talk back and fourth has been amusing. I live in Canada, and even we are getting some uncomfortable heat up here. It's really made me disinclined to work on any of my hobbies.

Aw, hehe. well i sent the extras back n_n
ah yeah, gosh it's been intense here, so very busy. the twins are learning to walk and moving much faster. The little guy bonked his head today and i freaked out so much, i sit him on the floor to put his shoes on, turn around for the tv remote and THUMP. He was okay a little bit later, thankfully.
i've improved a little! on wolves, that is. much more so on humans, heh. it's taking FOREVER though, but i do have to say, lining the fur-mane thing on 'em was super relaxing...that was...five years ago though? i've drawn a LOT since then, i mean even in that year i drew so much that i got to a really good point fast! then i kept going, and going but i can't seem to find my 2013 year summary so. literally years of practice though, and i'm still learning, still improving. i kinda went backwards for awhile, but now i'm going back to basics and referencing everything again. and i've got a LOT to learn still, especially about composition and, oh, i dunno, anything that isn't female humanoids?
haha, i wanna buy some art really badly, but i really need that test kit...augh, it's killing me...

Ember, I think you did a good job on the muzzle and the details. Also like the simple shading on the lioness. And yep, the first thing I thought was a lioness when I looked at her. xD
The anatomy is a bit off though, the ears should be more further back, and the forehead should be bigger.
I think something that I used to have a problem with is that I would concentrate on the details instead of getting the overall shape right first, which results in the pictures have wonky anatomy. So I would suggest you to lightly sketch out the rough shapes and outlines first before adding the details.
