The Gathering Springs the most amazing place any horse can live and the place all horses gather once ever 4 years this year is that year it is the gathering time and horses from all over are here to meet other's and graze on the bountiful land and it seem's that all the herds have arrived to see the younger mare's and stallion's form there new herds and take there first steps into the world without there parents to guide them

Astly looked about the Springs, uncomfortable with so many around in way place... was sure no human followed her, but was still unsure if they'd find thier large numbers in such a place, dipps her head to drink the refreshing water.

Striker prances around like a love struck colt all the phillys and mares have got him in such a craze he cant decide what way to look he grew up here and it has never been so full it has never had this many horses here before and he just couldn't contain his excitement he reared up on his hind legs and gave a whinny of joy

Astly looks back at the colt whos whinnied, sighing softly, finding his giddyness almost parasitic as it seemed to spread to everypony near him, she goes back to drinking, shes had too long a journey.

Starlett roamed around the springs trying not to run into anything she wasn't particularly clumsy or blind but the bright sun hurt her eyes she had come all the way from the Dark Plain's and wasn't used to the sun but she had always longed to see now she wished she had something to protect her eyes from the glaring sun.

She runs into something and tries to see what it is thankfully the shadow of the older and much bigger mare blankets her and she can see at least for the time.

The mare had been drinking out of a stream and looked nervous "o i am so sorry i didn't mean to run into you i am not used to the sun yet i just got here from the dark plains it is the first time i have ever left and im not used to the sun yet"

Astly looks at the mare, seeming in thought "congrats on making it so far young one... I am Astly of Gypsys Pass" She stands just so as to shield her eyes from the sun.

realizing that Astly is purposefully shielding her from the sun Starlett blushes "O i am sorry to have been so rude my name is Starlett" she says still embarrassed at having met the first new horse in such a manner "i am surprised" she says more to herself than any thing else " the first horse i meet and she is so kind i wish we had horses like this in the Dark Plains"

"ah, but thats because the dark plains is a tough and rugged place... much like Gypsy pass. But moost forget thier manners there" smiles "is this your first time outside of the forest?"

Jezzabella turned her head hearing another horse say they were from Gypsy Crossing she just had to introduce herself she hated other horses but this was a chance to be around someone like her sh could talk to about humans "wow Gypsy Crossing that is where i am from i am Jezzabella i just recently got droped off here i am looking for a herd to help me find my humans... what are you doing here in The Gathering Springs"

Starlett tried to speak only to be cut off by a new philly who just barged into the conversation pushing her into the water as if she didn't exist starlett wasn't sure if this new philly meant to do this or not but she wanted to bite her all the same. but now was not the time to start a fight
