So here's my idea;
At one point in time, dragons roamed free. They lived in harmony with the animals around them, teaching and learning from each other. There was a variety of dragons; earth, water, air, fire, jungle, snow; all dependent on the environment that was surrounding the dragons. They would live in a fingle (that is a word I made up for a herd of dragons. *throws on sunglasses with a not even sorry look*) Until humans decided to become dragon hunters, for the fear that dragons would rule over mankind. The numbers in dragons was starting to decline drastically all around the world. Eventually, a lucky few found a sanctuary far from the evils of mankind. Here few dragons, from different species, rest. The dragons live in peace, but a few have started rumors about mankind building boats, meaning danger. Most believe that humans are not wise enough to build boats and refuse to believe such paranoia. Little are the dragons aware of the true rumors...

That came out so much better in my head. Please feel free to adjust, revise, and tell me your thoughts on this idea.

I don't know if this plot is super close or far from your idea, but here is mine:

Long ago, there was this big peice of land called "The Immortal Plains", and there lived dragons of all kinds.

The dragons whom lived there used magic, and they still do, but now, the magic is running out. They get their power from a waterfall in the middle of the land, but for some unknown reason, it is running out. The dragons are struggling to surive. Some dragons think that they are doomed to die, some think that they should go somewhere else to gain magic, some think that they can survive without magic, and others have other ideas. It is up to the dragons whom live there to choose how their future plays out.

So sorry it's short, I'm not super good at making descrpictions without making a story, but that wouldn't be fair, would it? Cause it would breack the whole point of RPing, so thus it is hard to make a decritption.

Descriptions are always hard, don't you worry.
But that's a beautiful idea. It's similar to mine, except mine involves human and yours involve magic. Which both can be very plausible. Both leave an open end to the conflict, mixing the two also leaves an open end to the conflict. So I'm down for either. It's up to you.
