Chapter 8: Let's get ready to go!


Dewheart, was not at all who they thought she would be. Nightwhisp had pictured her as a soft-hearted Faelora. This was not the case. Dewheart was, in reality a young Quitari hatchling with great speed and agility. After they found her, they went to the Marketplace to get the things that they needed for their journey.
Just as they were running out of the Ryori Kingdom to begin their journey when their heard a familiar little voice "Hi! Remember me? Princess Cloud! Can I come with you? Pleeeeeeesssseeeeeee!"

Princess Cloud tried to pull a cute face, very successfully. Well, Nightwhisp thought we did allow her friends to come. "Okay." Nightwhisp said. Albus must have been thinking the same thing because he also said "Okay" the same time as she had. So they all ran back to the Marketplace to get the same things they had all bought for themselves for Princess Cloud. Novice satchel, spell components, water canteens and CUPCAKES? "Why are their cupcakes in that bag?" Blue Moon. "Unless your willing to share them with us." Sea Onyx continued. "Oh silly" Princess Cloud replied. "I was going to share them with you. Did you notice that you forgot to get food?" "But we bought food." Nightwhisp replied.

Al eyes turned to Sea Onyx, who was stuffing her snout with food. "Sorry" she said, food in her mouth. She swallowed. "I was hungry."

Everyone laughed. When they calmed down, they bought food and left the Ryori Kingdom. Next stop: Faelora Queendom.

Chapter 9: The Faelora Queendom

Nightwhisp and the others where heavily exhausted from their travels when they got to the Faelora Queendom. It was the only Queendom [or Kingdom] for miles. It was called a Queendom because the Queen was dominant instead of the King. In the center of the Faelora kingdom their was the mystical Tree of Life, a large jewel-embedded cherry blossom tree said to be as old as time itself. The Aerdini's co-ruled this Queendom, so it should be properly called the Aerdini-Faelora Queendom. All the houses were made of trees that had grown together in a perfect house-shape. Trees and flowers dotted the ground, and there was extremely soft grass under their feet. The castle was made of living willow and many flowering trees that Nightwhisp couldn't even name. It was truly beautiful. They stopped in an Inn called "The Flowering Dogwood Inn". It turned out that the trees that made the inn were Flowering Dogwood trees. They went to the inn's restaurant and licked their plates clean, and Dragondawn even asked for more food! This forced Dewheart and Blue Moon to stifle a giggle. But everyone had to laugh when Dragondawn ordered 10 more helpings or food! At the end of the meal, Dragondawn looked like he'd eaten a Ny'vene his stomach was so big. His expression matched his stomach, and it wasn't long before he had to take a trip to the outhouse. When he came back everyone fell asleep as soon as they got on their beds.

Chapter 10: The singing tour: Uh-oh!

"Welcome to the Faelora and Aerdini Queendom! It's so nice to meet new Sylestis."
was Nightwhisp got when she opened her door in the morning. It was an Aerdini, and a very friendly one at that. "It's my job to give newcomers a tour of the Queendom! This will be SO FUN!" The Aerdini squealed.
"That sounds great," Nightwhisp said, "but, I need to get going. Do you know where a library is?"
"Do I?" the Aerdini squealed. "I sure do or my name isn't Vine Forest. Have you heard of me? From the famous Forest family?"
Nightwhisp shook her head. "Oh well. Let's get going! It's going to be SO FUN!" Vine squealed. "What's your name?"
"My name is Nightwhisp." Nightwhisp said. She was getting VERY annoyed. Vine was hyperactive.
"What are you waiting for? Let's get going!!!!!!!!!!" She realized Vine wouldn't stop unless she agreed to go on a tour with him. She walked out of the room, following Vine. "And this fantastic ho-tel, ho-o-tel where many dwell!" Vine was singing. "Oh no!" Nightwhisp said to herself. Vine was a singing tour guide. Vine continued. "And this is our lovely stree-eet, stree-eet where many Sylestis meet. These are the traders stands, traders stands where we get our stuff! And this here is the library, library, and this here is library were we go to reeeeead!" Finally. Vine had finished his song and they were at the library. "I want to be a singer." Vine admitted.
"Well," Nightwhisp said "You are a good singer, you just um..uh.." Nightwhisp couldn't think of what to say.
"I get that a lot. But I don't care! It's just me, my songs and lovely trees!" Vine said. He produced a cowboy hat out of nowhere, and put it on his head. Then he flew up, and his head hit a tree. "I meant to do that!" he said, his cheeks turning red. Then he flew away."He Probably has to annoy somebody else now." Nightwhisp muttered to herself. "I agree." Nightwhips heard a voice say from behind her. "But your just as annoying. i can't have you meddling with my plans. I'll have to slow you down." Just as Nightwhisp spun her head around to see who was saying that, she got hit in the head, and the world turned black.

Chapter 11: Waking up

"Nightwhisp, wake up!" Blue Moon at Midnight said calmly, shaking Nightwhisp. "You're okay. Magma is gone. And uh so are a few um.. other things."
NNightwhisp opened her eyes and looked around. She was in the Infirmary! She groaned. Se back felt funny. She couldn't feel her wings. She tails felt odd too. She couldn't feel 2 of them. She could only feel 1. Wait a minute Nightwhisp thought. She demanded her friends "What um.. other things are missing? Tell me NOW. Please."
"Well" Dragondawn started.
"You see.." Sea Onyx said.
"Magma, somehow magically, took away your wings and two of your tails. I think it's called a Power steel spell." Albus blurted out.
"WHAT?" Nightwhisp shrieked. Her looked behind her back. No wings. She looked at her tails-correction tail. Only one left. "Noooooooooooooooooooo!" she wailed. "I'll never be able to fly again!"
"Calm down. It's going to be okay. You'll get used to it." Albus told her.
"Easy for you to say!" she snapped at him. "You still have your tails and wings!"
"I-mm. I'm sorry." Albus muttered, taken aback by Nightwhisp's snapping.
"Oh. Albus. I'm sorry. I'm just so flustered by this. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Nightwhisp said, realizing that she'd hurt him.
"It's fine." Albus said.
"But the fact that Magma's here" Sea Onyx began.
"Proves that" Dragondawn added
" Lord Lava is rising."Blue Moon at Midnight finished.
"Stop talking like that!" Nightwhisp said. "It's creepy!"
The three Luporas laughed. "And, who is Magma?" Nightwhisp added.
"We only know her name." Dewheart said.
"I know a bit." Darknightstar said, coming out of the shadows.
