"Thanks!" Orion said, and walked out the door. "Lead the way!" he said, because he had no idea where the bluff was. He scanned the sky for the hawk, and spotted it. He smiled before turning his gaze back to the ground. The dumplings smelled delicious, and he was glad he had let Jora lend him money.

Jora was about to start walking towards the bluff she had seen but she remembered. "I need to go look at something really quick. Just go up that path and you should see them." She turned and tried to find the group of trees Orion had found her in earlier. She really wanted to find her necklace if she could or she'd be worried all night.

Orion nodded, but he stopped walking. Once Jora walked off, he flopped down on the grass and watched the hawk. I wonder what she's looking at... Well, it's none of my business. He lay there watching the hawk. Occasionally, he glanced in the direction where Jora had gone.

It took her a bit but she found the group of trees. Jora looked around and went in after seeing that no one was there. She crawled around near the trees looking for even a small glint of gold that would tell her where her necklace was. After about ten minutes she gave up and sat down against a tree. She felt a tear escape her eye and she wiped it off with her sleeve.

Orion waited for a bit longer, and finally his patience wore out. He stood up and walked in the direction Jora was. He began to get worried when he didn't see her, and yelled, "Jora?!" He saw the clump of trees from earlier, and tried to see between the trees. He began to head toward the trees.

Jora heard Orion yelling for her. She quickly wiped off the few streaks from her face hoping he wouldn't notice. She cleared her throat. "I'm coming!" It sounded a little hoarse to her and she mentally slapped herself. It was a stupid thing to cry about, her mother would make her another one. She stood up and wiped the last tear in her eye. She plastered on a smile and took a final sweep of the area.

Orion sighed with relief when he heard Jora's voice. He headed toward where he had heard her. The dry grass got taller as he walked, and he tripped on a tree root. He found himself lying on the ground. I'm such a klutz. He began to stand up, when something shiny caught his eye. He picked it up, and found that it was a necklace. He inspected it as he kneeled on the ground. A drop of blood fell his hand with the necklace. I managed to cut myself on the forehead by tripping. Geez. He wiped the blood from the cut above his eye, more annoyed at himself for falling than hurt. The smallest cuts always bleed the most. Orion thought.

Jora heard something crash a little bit back. She turned and walk to where she heard the noise. She saw Orion. She walked over to him smiling. "Come on let's go." She looked at his eyes and saw the cut on his forehead. "Oh my gosh! Are you alright?" She asked digging in her pocket for a band aid if she had one.

Orion looked up from the necklace. "I'm fine!" he said, smiling as he stood up. "Well at least one good thing came out of my fall," he said, holding out the necklace for her to see. "It's pretty, isn't it? I feel bad for whoever lost it," he said. I wonder if someone is looking for it right now... He absent-mindly wiped the blood off his forehead again.

Jora found the band-aid and looked up at Orion. Her jaw dropped when she saw the necklace. "Oh my gosh! You found it!" She couldn't help but give him a big hug. She stepped back blushing. "Sorry. It's mine. It must have fallen off when we were out here earlier..." She looked down at the band-aid and started opening it.
