Jacket glance over at the new experiment think that he could be useful having those mechanical arms, and all. "Hey new guy you may want to practice using those arms before they come back to get us for test," he said. "I don't know what they do during test, but looking at everyone here you might not want to take chances."

Dusk looked up when someone spoke to him, their words not quite registering right away thanks to his shock, but once his mind wrapped around the fact that he wasn't the only one here, their words started to sink in. He waited several moments before speaking, as the fog of confusion slowly started to fade. "I'm sure stretching would help, but at the moment, I can't even get up..." He said, confused by the second speaker, "Tests?" he asked confused, he had after all just arrived. Not that it would be expected for him to undergo tests while his body was still getting used to the changes it's gone through... Would it? He shook his head and once more attempted to sit up.

"Yes," Shanali growled, "tests, why do you think you're here?" She turned away from this new...creation of whatever he was and scowled into the darkness. She had grown weary of this place and she was already planning, yet another escape plan. It would never pan out. They never did. It wasn't feasible to assume that this plan would work out. If only she had gotten more of the strength from her polar bear genes. Or perhaps that was why she never got enough to eat and was constantly ravenous, there was no reason to keep the subjects up to full strength.
"Don't talk so loudly," she cautioned, "you never know when they're going to appear." She had been here for such a long time that she had since learned that any noises could single you out by the scientists, "in fact, it would be really nice if you could all just kindly keep the noises down to a whisper." She pressed her back against the side of her cage and leaned her head back, gnarled hair falling into her face.

Sarah finished the adjustments to her arm, going to look at the new experiment, with something like pity in her eyes. She knew it wasn't very likely he would survive long. She was one of the ones who had survived the longest, along with Matt. She had seen a lot of people disappear for testing and never come back. "The soreness doesn't really go away." she told him, rubbing the area where the skin of her arm met metal. "But you get used to it. Sorry you got stuck here. Sometimes luck is just out to get you."

Max blinked "dose it really matter how loud we are?" she glanced around "after all we're all just going to be tourchered like this until we die why hid our exsistance just to make our tormentors happy" She glanced at the new guy "you might as well find some happiness and peace when you can without fear of what will happen because of it or you'll spend the rest of you'r life miserable . She sighed and glanced at the door to the testing area.

Dusk frowned... He was surrounded by angry and/or pessimistic people. Gritting his teeth he pushed past the soreness and sat up. "You don't have to be so unplesant about it..." He grumbled after he sat up, stretching his arms above his head. "What is this place anyway?" He asked, making sure to keep his voice down at least a little, trying to get a glance at his back to see what was done to him. He did his best to ignore the situation he was in and just work on stretching out, leaning to one side while still stretching his arms out. This situation was unplesant, but he wouldn't let it get to him, he just needed to try and find the silver lining. "Luck? It's not out to get me. That would be if my appartment had burned down and I lost everything I had BEFORE I got here." He said with a small shrug. "Looking at the down side of everything will only make things worse..." He said... Here's to hoping he doesn't make a hipocrite out of himself, as he hand no idea what was in store for him.

Jacket couldn't help, but laugh at the new guys statement. "Heh keep that attitude while you still can because it won't be long before they break you," he said cracking his knuckles to help get his point across. "Then you'll see that the down side of things is the only side that exists here."

Max smiled at the kid "I would recommend escape but it seams like it is unlikely to happen". She then leaned against the bars of her cage and closed her eyes trying to get some rest. Though it seamed unlikely she'd have that for long.
