Daniel stared at the girl in front of him with a sleepy expression on his face. She looked familiar to him but he couldn't place her face until he noticed the wings. It took about 10 seconds of awkward silence before he finally spoke.
"Wait... Hawkgirl? Why do you look like a kid and aren't you a redhead?" He asked with a yawn, still half asleep. "Did you get sucked into that spinny thing last night too? Do you know what the deal with that thing is?"

Martha needed to concentrate. She walked around the other girl and looked at the boy. "niartseR mih." She said as his legs clamped together. "Sorry but all of your questions make it hard to think. I know she isn't Hawkgirl but who are you?" She asked unsure if she should let him lose or not. "If it will make you feel any better, I am Mythira to criminals."

Daniel pondered her words for a moment. The way she spoke it was obvious she was a hero and the backwards words... Not the same magician woman he knew of, that's for sure. Maybe a relative? He lowered his voice to it's controlling pitch and spoke.
"Then that name doesn't mean anything to me. I'm no criminal so why don't you just let me go?" He doubted he could control her completely, supers usually have strong wills. He could just use the Canary cry and break her concentration but he didn't want to start a fight so his words mattered just as much, if not more, than the pitch of his voice.

Kestrel stepped forward, her scythe resting on her shoulder. She looked curiously at the girl who seemed to be holding the boy in place by saying that spell. Kestrel turned her gaze to the boy. "Yeah, she's right. I'm not Hawkgirl. That's my mom," SHould I tell them my name? Why not? Misen't give her name to them, superhero or otherwise, yet, just in case. well tell them or he'll call me hawkgirl. Besides, I doubt they'll know me. "I'm known as Sparrowhawk," she said, sighing. "So, let's focus on trying to find out where we are instead of holding eachother captive. That is," she said, turning to the boy again, "if you aren't the person who brought us here.

Martha didn't know what to say to Sparrowhawk. "But... But... Hawkgirl doesn't have any children...." She stammered and then mummered. "esaeleR mih." She put her full focus on the winged girl. "I know her and she hasn't had any children...." She said trailing off.

(No one say who their dad is please ^^)

"You know my mom?" asks Kestrel, surprised at the fact that she doesn't think Hawkgirl had any kids, and the fact that she knew Hawkgirl. "Where are you from?" she asks, wondering if they might have been neighbors with either of them knowing. It was possible, but unlikely. They both were superheroes. If they did live that close they should have heard of one another at the very least.

Daniel stumbled a little as his legs were freed. "Hawkgirl does have a kid. I don't really know him that well but she has a son not a daughter!" He thought for a moment. "But you do look like her." He walked over to her, plucked a feather from one of her wings and inspected it. "And you've got the wings to back up your story..."

Kestrel glared at him when he took one of her feathers and jerked her wings back, before realizing what he said. "Wait. So you think that Hawkgirl has a son, you think Hawkgirl has no kids, and I am Hawkgirl's daughter," she said, gesturing to each person when she spoke about them. "Wait a sec...." she turned to the boy, "Who is you mom?" she asked, wondering if they would all say different things again.

Martha stared at them in disbelief. "My mother is Zatanna. Why do you ask?" She looked at the girl wondering what she was thinking of . (I can't think sorry. >.<)

Kestrel took a step back. "But... Zatanna's daughter was killed in a fight," she whirls to look at the boy. "Does Zatannna have a daughter?" she asks. First they say Hawkeye doesn't have a daughter, and now Martha is saying she's Zatanna's daughter who died. What is going on here?! Kestrel tries to think of an explanation, but all of them are too far-fetched. Then again, everything that has happened here seems far-fetched too.
