Sample post as character: Canary: I stood next to Arrow, even though I knew he'd rather I'd be back at our den under a tree. He didn't know it but I was expecting some pups. I was going to tell him this morning but he really didn't want me to go with him already and if he knew about the pups he would have tied me to the tree. I stood there getting ready to fight when suddenly a vulnyx jumped onto Arrow he grunted as he landed on the ground with his attacker on top of him. I bared my teeth and growled at it. Then I jumped on it biting behind it's ear. It, the only way to say it, meowed and turned it's head to bite at my leg. It froze it's mouth inches before my leg. A lighria stepped in between everyone. I climbed off him and listened. She spoke truths that everyone believed. The vulnyx looked to me and said, "Forgive me for attacking you. No one was hurt may we forget this?" I nodded and it bounded off. I went over to Arrow who seemed to be frozen looking at the lighria. I rubbed my face on his. "Come on let's go home."

Sample post as character: Arrow: I didn't want Canary here but I knew if I had convinced her to leave she wouldn't be the one I fell in love with. I looked over at her, she looked a little on edge. I was about to ask her what was wrong when a vulnyx jumped me. I tried to turn to attack back but I couldn't. I was even more glad Canary insisted on coming when she saved me by knocking him off me. I wanted to help her and flipped to get up. By the time I got up a voice was speaking to all of us. I looked around for the source of it and saw a lighria standing in the middle of everything. I couldn't believe I was looking at a lighria. I was so amazed I lost it and forgot where I was until Canary rubbed against my face. (To be continue!)

He knew he wouldn't be any good at close combat, so he flew above the fight, diving down and quickly attacking confused-looking Sylesti before flying back up to the sky, away from harm. He saw a sad Lighira walk into the fight. Lighiras are strong foes, he thought, but this one is weak and sad. I think I can take her. As he dove down to scratch and peck her, she began to speak. He pull up to stop his dive and hovered there, flapping, while he listened. The Lighira's words rang true, and he slowly landed on the ground, not saying a word. He stayed silent, contemplating, even when the rest of the Sylesties called out and praised the Lighira.

Sample post as character: I was hiding under a bush. I was afraid. I had covered up my gold and silver markings along with my mother's beaded band. She had given me the beaded band when she and Papa left, and it brought me some comfort at times. I was hiding in the shadows of this bush, shaking. I could hear sylesti after sylesti dying. I could hear them crying and in pain. I shut my eyes and rubbed the band with my paw. The sounds of fighting slowly stopped, and I could hear someone speaking, telling us to stop fighting. A shout went up and I braved looking out from under the bush. The fighting had stopped and everything seemed peaceful, so I crawled out and shook of the mud covering my markings and the leaves covering my band. Everyone was clam, so she ran to her hut as fast as possible.

"Andromeda!" she screeches, diving, and crashing into the nykertite. The nykertite slashes at her side, and she scratches him with her talons. He finally backs off and Aquila flies to her sister.

Panic filled her, knowing her sister was probably in the midst of battle. "Aquila!" she called, trying to fight back tears. She heard a screech, and whirled to see a nykertite bearing down on her. She dove, avoiding it's outreached talons. She came face to face with another nykertite. Aquila! Where are you? I need help! She raised her claws, ready to attack, when something bowled over the nykertite. Not stopping to see her rescuer, Andromeda flew away from the two nykertites, one of which who flew off. She turned to thank the other aurelon, when she was bowled over. Andromeda prepared to fight, when she heard the familiar screech of her sister. She opened her eyes, to find herself staring at Aquila. "Andromeda!" screeched Aquila, her wings flapping hard. Andromeda glared at her. "Don't run off like that again! You scared me half to death!" Aquila wasn't listening. She had pulled away from her sister and turned to look at the lighira. The booming voice they heard calmed the sylesti, and the fighting ceased. Andromeda flew to land on the ground, relief flooding through her veins. Aquila joined her, black blood running from various cuts. Andromeda leaned against her, one wing resting on Aquila's back.

He trotted away from the fighting, ducking under a bush to lick his wounds. He watched diligently from the bush, making sure no one would catch him unaware. I wish this stupid fight would end already. I want to go back to the meadows. He turns to look in the direction of his favorite meadows. He turned back to the field, and decided his break was over. Corvus slipped out from the bush, and shook the leaves from his fur. Right as he was about to leap back onto the field, he heard the lighira's voice, and liked it immediately. No more fighting. Now he could go to his meadow.

She forces the aurelon that attacked to pull up, and took advantage of that moment. Leaping in the air, she hooks, that aurelon's tail feathers in her claws, and drags her back down to earth. She raises her paw for the final blow when the voice reaches her. She goes limp, dropping the aurelon. The lighira's voice sends a wave of calm through the crowd. Honeycomb nods to the aurelon she had almost injured, if not killed, and the aurelon nodded back. Honeycomb slipped away into the crowd.
