" And what do you want?" shade sneered turning towards another girl that had just entered. He continued his rude taunts. " So whats with sneezing fit? " he said gesturing at the value dressed in red " Oh whatever sorry for the rudeness I'm just.......... tired I guess" He stood up from the desk the chair making a high pitched squeaking sound on the tiled floor. He might as well read, I mean he was in the library.

Since she'd been noticed, Willow had stepped out of hiding and was instead watching the scene while leaning against a shelf. Listening to the dark boy rant, she realized then that she'd never seen nor heard of him before. He seemed just as stuck here as the rest of the group, an obviously none too pleased. With the tension thick in the air, even as he quieted, Willow decided to give them a distraction to hopefully lift the mood a bit.

Looking down at the book in her hands, she quickly flipped it open and skimmed through till she landed on a species of sparrow. Closing and shoving the book under her arm she then held out her hand and focused intensely on the image of that bird in her mind. In a quick flurry of colours and feathers a little sparrow appeared on her hand. She brought it closer to herself and quietly asked it to fly around the people nearby and land on the other girl's shoulder.

The bird chirruped it's acceptance of the task and took off across the room, tweeting softly as it flew around the boys and gently landed on the girl's shoulder.

Before she could compose herself from sudden sneezing fit of the Red Value and half-rude, half-apologetic rant of the Black, a small, greyish-brown bird landed on her shoulder.
-Waah, you're cute!
There, and all her adult-like behavior flew through the window, as her love for animals with fur or feathers bared her act, showing her true, thirteen-year-old self. As the bird chirped, not showing any signals of fear or urge to ran away, she raised her other hand and patted it with her finger delicately, as not to hurt it. The bird looked pleased. Then, Midori remembered where she was, and blushed deeply in embarrassment, looking around the room.
'Deal with one problem at a time'she remembered her brother's advice. The Red boy's sneezing was becoming hard to ignore and would disturb every conversation at the voice level possible in the library, so this was to be dealt with first. She moved towards the boy, bird still not showing any signs of fear. She was grateful for that, because she could lost her courage otherwise. She had to stand on her tiptoes to reach the boy's forehead, even as he was bowed with next sneezes. She focused for a moment...
It was strange, even for her, but whenever she took on herself only symptoms, not the cause of them, they appeared much lightier for her. For now, she was grateful for that, as her throat only tightened uncomfortingly, instead of producing the fit, which subdued in the other's case. She retreated her hand.
-Here.- she said, her voice still muffled by the symptoms.- Just don't get any close to whatever made that, I didn't heal you from...-she hestiated; what actually made the boy sneeze like that in the first place? But before he was able to answer, rather bored voice said:
-He has allergy to pollen- the main librarian went from behind the shelves and pointed at the other Value: -She's a summoner.-his hand moved, pointing at the Pure Black.- and he's Shade. And the books you came here for:one is on my desk, the second was read by him just moments ago-he pointed at the Red Value.- now, have I answered all of your question and you can finally quiet down as it was supposed to be in the library?
Midori jumped slightly and bowed towards Yukio, sparrow chirping on her shoulder.
-I'm sorry, mr Yukio. I'll be by your desk in a second.- the main librarian sighed exasperatedly, but moved back to his spot. Midori sighed in relief; she liked most of Spectrum's workers but Yukio kind of intimidiated her. She turned towards the other girl. She tilted her head to the other sidenthan that of the birds.
-Are you that new secondary Value? Umm, Green?- she asked, feeling a little stupid for the color was obvious from the girl's looks.

Shade quickly decided there was nothing he wanted to read about so he stood up from his crouched position and observed the room his eyes flicking over the girls and the boy. He caught the last few words of a sentence by one of the girls that sounded something like - Umm, Green?" but nothing else. "so" He asked " Is anyone else avoiding class or am I the only completely bored one?" He stood there waiting for an answer, hoping that the librarian hadn't heard him or even better hadn't cared.

Shion, as usual, was skipping class. As of then, he was supposed to be at Ms Feather's class, practicing with a bow and sparring, but decided against it. Now, he was resting at the castle's garden, back to the apple tree that grew there. In his hands was - would you believe it? - a book, as a multitude of cards floated around him.

The dual value groaned, running a hand through his tangled mass of hair, his top hat and hair band resting on the grass beside him. Tilting his head back - and resting it on the tree's trunk-, he opened his eyes to stare at the blue sky above him and stretched out a hand, pretending to grab a cloud.

A smirk made its way onto his lips as he reminisced about the times he spent with his brother. Back then, they used to play tag almost everyday, chasing each other around in the wild behind their house. The hills used to filled with the sound of their combined laughter as they lay on the grass, finally tired, and stared up at the sky above and playing name-the-clouds.

...But that was the past. He could not go back, and that Shion knew. However sad that was, it was his reality now, and Shion had to accept it. He frowned. He didn't like that. But what choice did he have? Spectrum would never let him leave... He was lost in his own thoughts, until a shadow fell over him, and a squeak sounded from the rat that sat on his shoulder.

"Heh. Looks like you found me, huh?"

~

Ren frowned. He was at Ms Feather's class, waiting for Shion. But did he really expect the other male to come? Shion preferred being off on his own than actually attending classes, and today was no different. Ren sighed, and stood up. Explaining that he had better go look for his friend before said male got himself in trouble, the archery teacher excused him, and Ren set of to find his rat-loving friend.

~

After a while - just enough time for their class with Ms Feather to end, Ren finally found Shion at the garden. As he walked up, Nezumi, who had been sitting on Shion's shoulder, turned its head around, squeaking.

"So you've been here all along..."

Ren heard his friend sigh, but his eyes were focused on the rat that scampered down Shion's shoulders and was currently at his feet, standing on its hind legs. As Shion slammed his book shut - slammed mostly because an audible thud was heard - Ren gave in to the rat's squeaking, and lifted the white animal onto his shoulder. Nezumi was content, and stayed there, looking at his master.

~
"You can be so troublesome sometimes..." Shion murmured, collecting the cards in the air around him in one palm. In the other rested the now shut book he had been reading. "But...!" Shion stretched as he stood up, before glancing at Ren out of the corner of his eyes. "That's why your my best friend, isn't it now?" He shot a grin at the blue-haired male.

"C'mon. Let's go to the library; I've got a book to return. Besides, class is over, and we have some free time, so you can't say no, can you now?" Shion passed his friend as he made his way back inside the castle, Nezumi scampering after him. He smirked when he heard his friend sigh and footsteps echoing behind him. Looks like he got to be leader for today.

~
It wasn't long before both boys made it to the library. As Shion entered and went straight to return his book, Ren noticed the other values in the room. He blinked. It wasn't often he saw so many at the library. Especially ones with animals. But... who was he to judge? He had what appeared to be the crossbreed between a dove and hawk resting on his shoulder, while Shion had a rat on his. Tapping his left eyepiece, he readjusted the volume and kept his hand there as he strode up to the group of values.

"Good morning. It's rare to see so many of us here. May I inquire what the lot of you are doing here?"

Midori was about to answer Shade to his last question, when two next boys entered the library and, while one moved to return the book, the other asked something and Shade was unsuccessfully trying to find an answer that probably won't create a greater distance between colored people and him, who was supposed to be with their foes. Well, she was happy he wasn't, she started to catch glimpses of his real self, guarded by rudeness. Then she turned towards one of the newcomers. Once again, sparrow on her arm chirped, keeping himself to facing green Valued girl, who summoned it in the first place, like awayting orders from her. Midori was about to greet them, when she spotted something that changed her greeting into question:
-You two are compliments? I haven't seen anyone like me in Spectrum before...
Whoops, she did it again. She'll need to apologize for it later...

Ren chuckled. "Well, my friend decided to return a book he borrowed and thought it was wise to drag me along." He shot a glare in Shion's direction, who was still.... chatting? with the librarian. Ren almost immediately rolled his eyes, adding on, with a shrug, "Who am I kidding, we're the best of friends. It's nearly impossible for me to be mad at him."

"And yes, we are compliments." Ren replied the girl's question with a smile, before casting a look back in Shion's way. He returned his gaze to the five values who had been present in the library before he and Shion came in. "We didn't see you around either... But then again, we usually stay in our rooms, and try to avoid the more crowded places here. We've been here for quite some time though. My friend longer than me."

As Ren finished his sentence, he noticed something that bugged him... Irritating him that he even forgot to do it in the first place. Giving a bow, Ren began to speak again. "Ah, forgive me. I don't think we've been properly introduced, have we? My name is Ren Shimizu. It's a pleasure to meet you. May we work well together on future missions." Ren stood up again, posture straight, hand returning to his headphone.

It was something he really appreciated to have. It helped his hearing disorder and helped him when he was ever in a fix, for if he ever was in trouble, he could use the headphone to ask for help. So far though, he only called Shion, for only the other male had a earpiece that could connect to his. But, Ren still had a few more sets of earpieces in his room, spares if he ever needed to give them out.

"Heh wonder if I'm trustworthy enough to do any missions.. anyways.." Shade said. Well this is awkward he thought. " so does anyone know anyone else here besides Ren and his friend?" He asked doing his best to spark some form of conversation so no more awkward and silent time had to pass between them.

-I'm Midori. Um, my brother never really bothered to tell me our surnames, and since we were... separated almost a year ago, I still do not know it.- it was true, she was maybe three when her brother took her in, and since then, altough he taught her everything else, she never got to know their surname. She looked up at Shade, moving hand to put her hair behind the ear, letting her sleeve slide up and show a bandaged hand and restraining bracelet.- I have seen everyone, but I'm probably one of the youngest Values here, not mention I've been thre only a year. So I'm not sure if I can tell that I 'know' anyone, aside of the staff...
