Well, my first design is largely meant to be a counter point to your character. I think Luffoxes are pretty cute and a little impish, and the mostly cheerful bright colours oppose him well. I get the feeling he's just a big softy, and so I think she'd be a great pet for him.

My second design goes with the idea of a protector, kind of like a guard. I think they would both mutually protect each other. (I was going to have this as a male first, but when I remembered that lionesses are generally the ones who do a lot more physical activity. But either gender works.)

Third and final design! Your little guy looks like a trickster to me, kind of mischievous and devious. I think a companion to match his trickery would be good. (Also the "jester" theme gave me the excuse to mix in a bright colour, can't resist that. :3)

First entry! I feel like he'd get along well with something fluffy and loyal, especially if it provides just a soft light, so this girl was born!
