Arian shoved the new wolf off her back as they tumbled down the gorge. She twisted toward the wall and tried to latch on, but it was too far. She quickly created a small light serpent which pulled her closer to the side. She hauled herself up on the ledge before the serpent dissipated. She leapt from ledge to ledge until she reached the top. Panting, she leapt onto the cliff edge and created a tiny bird to relay the message of the attack to the other guards.

Ascua reached the volcano passed through the marketplace. She didn't have any money with her so she passed the delicious smells and dove into the lava. She swam to her home, and lay on the couch, longing for something to happen.

Gaundun carried the plants back to his cave, which was nestled at the top of a natural rock tower in the middle of the forest. He lay the plants in the sun outside of his cave and threw at net over them so nothing could eat it. He lay down at the mouth of the cave and stared out over the forest. He could see all the way to the meadow at the forest's edge, and he lay there staring out at the world around him.

Rune was alone in the woods, especially since the rest of the hunters were tired. Rune just thought they were lazy, a little hunting hurt no one. She was just chasing mice mostly. She was chasing a mouse, it scurried to this big rock formation. "Odd." Rune spoke to herself. "I haven't seen this before. " Rune flew up. A few herbs were drying in the sun, covered by a net. The cave held someone within it. "Hello?" Rune asked curiously.

Gaundun saw the purple dragon come out of the forest long ago. He stood and was preparing to fight when the dragon talked. "Hello." said Gaundun, "What are you doing here?" he asked curiously. He was glad to have some company.

Rune narrowed her eyes. "I should ask you the same question. This place isn't fit to live in, you need a proper cave." Rune shook off the dirt on her scales. "And anyway, don't you know what a hunter is?"

"I've lived here my whole life so I have a right to be here!" Gaundun's temper flared and sprouts shot up between the rocks.

"I didn't mean it like that. It just looks cramped in there. " Rune said. She really didn't want to get in a fight

Gaundun settled down and smiled. "This is just the entrance. If you want to see the rest, I'll show you."

"Sure. But I have to get back soon. " Rune said.

Gaundun led Rune to the back of the cave.A narrow tunnel stretched down into the dark. He squeezed through and after awhile, fell into thin air. Flapping his wings he landed on the floor. The celing was high and the room was filled with weird plants that were never seen above ground. Many glowed, lighting up the cavern with an eerie glow.
