Welcome to the game! :D

They are indeed pretty! Every once in a while the admins will set up special festivals for players, and following the theme of the festival players can obtain special Themed Pets. Themed Pets will all have the same general color scheme, which is the feature that makes them so special. I happen to be a Themed Pet Breeder, and once I find a theme that I like I breed the pet like a crazy obsessed nut until I finally achieve certain 6-vis combinations. (All trait slots have a visible.) Those that I have leftover or that don't hatch to my liking I usually set up for sale, so I'll always have more in the future once you get more skilled at the game and have more gold than you know what to do with. :D

There are two ways to obtain a Themed Pet during the festivals.

1: In a Festival Zone (only available during a Festival) Themed Pets will appear in the wild that you can capture. These pets will come with a themed tag towards the bottom of their profile page, such as this one. She's a Hot Cross Qitari, one of many that I'm using for my 6-vis goals. For these easily obtained themed pets, my pricing setup is much, much lower. (Usually between 10,000 and 60,000 gold depending on the pet's traits)

2: For the Festivals there is also a spinning wheel with various prizes. Tickets are required in order to spin which can be obtained through various methods in the game (purchased with diamonds, found randomly within the festival zone, and obtained by defeating specific enemies within the festival zone) and among the very top prizes, are the coveted Wheel Pets. The extreme rarity and value of Wheel Pets is what makes their offspring, such as my fleet of Reindeer Griffi Offspring, on the higher end of pet prices. (I actually spent well over 2-4 million gold on my entire project for these between offspring and breedings. ^^; ) Wheel Pets will have the themed tag, as well as an 'exclusive tag' on their profile pages, such as this one here which is a tagged Reindeer Griffi obtained from the Winter Festival's Wheel. (The very first Wheel added to the game, actually.)


Gold is relatively easy to obtain once you've progressed through the game. The best way to start making gold is by sending your pets on missions that will be unlocked in the two starting towns. Missions can be found in the Town Barracks in Eisor's Haven of the Viridian Meadows, as well as the Town Barracks in the Santuary of Sarielle of the Umbra Forest that you will unlock later on through the quest progression.

Mission success is based on stat points, so I suggest 'stacking' on traits for mission pets to ensure the best possibly results from the mission. By stacking, I mean choosing one stat (such as health, strength, intelligence, and so on) and putting every last point possible into it.

I got her. Thank you. I think she was the one breed of wheel griffi I didn't yet have. ^^ It was hard to find one that I wanted out of both Tagged and Offspring.
