I just beat the last boss in the dungeon with only two pets. One was lvl 36, a tanker, and the other was also a tank but did magic damage and melee and he is lvl 35. I had 51 potions and have 32 potions left over.

The strategy I used was to kill the bird first and then the dragon pet, both are which are elite, since they're easier to take down. I didn't use potions a lot until I battled Talon, and even then he was knocking off my pet's health even though they are built as a tanker. What I noticed too is that the middle pet seems to get the most hits (first pet you party up with). While I did have revival droughts, this time around I didn't need to use them.

The best time for me to use potions on my pet is when the bar is this length: ________ Even though it seems redundant to use a potion, it's safer than having it at this length: ____ since it can be quite dangerous since, once, my pet was annihilated even though I gave him the potion. I think it's mostly because Talon uses his strengthen skill, which I did not put on these two pets since I focused on the heal skill (which is in my eyes more important to stay alive) but even then, it was easier than before.

Despite all of that, it was really fun (even if the first few times I became broke but missions helped getting back money quick so it's no big deal xD).

@Dustypinkdragon

If you have a dungeon instance open for longer than 24 hours, you can reset the dungeon (via the Explore Page for the dungeon) to begin at the start.

This is in case some people get stuck on a certain boss and want to farm the previous ones over again.

I finally beat Lord Talon! I had to upgrade to three slots, and all of my pets were above level 30... and a lot of elixirs, haha!

I decided to skip the dungeons for now and tackle the Tree of Life. Has anyone beaten the undead at the top of the tree? If so, got any pointers? Thanks in advance.

I can't exactly remember, though I think you're talking about an undead army instance where the monsters don't stop coming? xD

I say if possible, after your pets are equipped and well leveled for the instance, take them on and make the 3-stars a priority target. What I do is that of the 3, I usually fight the strongest one and leave the 1-stars alive until the end, so if a wave of 3-star knights come out, I only face them one at a time while I get damaged by two other weak undead.

It's good to heal when you can, have a tank to last throughout, and know when to administer elixirs. I emphasize letting the 1-star and 2-stars hit you while you focus on killing the stronger ones. c:

Agreed. I'll often take the weakest enemies out in a non-chain battle to keep them from damaging me, but in a chain battle you want as few strong enemies out at one time as possible.
Try not to use fire-proficient pets in a chain battle, either. Instead make sure you have a healer (either dark or light), and stock up on healing potions and elixirs. :3

I'll usually have my ice-type as the party leader, since Frost absorbs some damage and she tends to get attacked the most (is that just me, or do a lot of people have this happen?). She also has more points sunk into agility than the other two in my party (wind and either fire or darkness, depending on if it's a chain battle or something else where I only want to hurt one enemy at a time (*scowls at a certain other boss*) , which are more focused on doing damage. I'm healing a lot less often nowadays, even during events. ^^

But it's up to you, in the end, to find out what kind of strategy is best for your team. My advice is to play around with equipment and proficiencies, and most of all to grind grind grind those levels. Trust me when I say it helps. <_<
