As a self-account, I think that at 3am-4am this morning, I had a really nice encounter.
I wanted to spectate a random person, and it so happened that the person was making a custom match, him vs 9 bots. I talked to him, and told him I was a total newb, so he guided me along. c:
Then he got me into my first PvP match. xD It was crazy. The other team was gaining on us, then this dude just CUT THROUGH the middle lane, THROUGH the turrets like crazy over time, and defeated the other team in the nick of time.

Anyways, I'm hoping to have more matches like that, or meet nice people like that (there was one guy cursing like a sailor in our team and I was intimidated ;; ), but I guess it starts at trying to get a feel for the game. Which is fun in of itself.

Is league of legends nice? I'm only managed to get in one game, before I backed out, after I found out it was PvP ^^ll Which is why I play Dota >> But I heard it's good... Can I play with you one day then...?

Oh man, it isn't really what I'd say "nice". I'd say (not even from experience, it's word of mouth that things get heated among teammates if you don't do things well Q_Q;; ) that you have to be decent at whatever you're doing or else other people in the heat of competition will get annoyed.

I understand why you'd back out. It's why I backed out 4-5 years ago back when League was getting big (I was into regular MMOs). I heard of dota, but I heard that it doesn't give the same fervor as other MMOs would.

For those of the faint of heart, like me lolol, I recommend either playing with friends or playing tutorials/against bots for a long awhile, just for fun. c: You can definitely play with me, I encourage it, because I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing. xD

The same thing happened to me when I was playing dota... Got flamed and screamed at >< Unfortunately for the strangers I was playing with, I didn't realize it till my friend explained it to me >< Dota is like LoL though, so I opted for Dota since more of my friends were playing that. And it had bots, so I wasn't too pressured ... Until my friend partied with me and made me play with the very experienced players T__T

Wait, LoL has bots?! O___O My friends said they didn't have any >< And yay! The two of us can figure out how to play together! But it's night time now >< Gah >< I do better at PvE though, so if you see me on my own.. er... sorry >< It's a habit I picked up from other mmos, where you can pretty much solo the whole thing XD

Yeahh, I'm only good at PvE too. I'm so totally hopeless against actual PvP. xD

I can't do well against experienced peeps. I like it when people help me. ;w;

But yes, League has bots.
When you play tutorial, there's a ton of bots.
And when you play P vs AI, it's 5 random players on your side vs 5 bots.
And then you can make a custom game where its you+4 bots vs 5 bots. I've seen people do that for practice.

We should totally play together. And stick by each other when people are totally mean. ;w;

Oh! P V Ai! I did not know they had that mode o.0 and I want the custom game o___o Yeah, we should totally play together! But er... what's the usually length for a lol game o.0 Dota ranges anywhere from 5 - 90 mins ((5 mins if every opposite player disconnects)) and I've seen people play a 1 v 5 ((1 human vs 5 humans)).
And yeah.. if anyone flames you or me when we play together... I'm sorry if I start flaming them back ^^ll I did that when some idiot called my friend words he shouldn't have, and kinda just got the other team to kill him...
And yeah! PvE Is easy! But PvP? The best I did in an mmo was hit and run run run and not get hit till the timer ran out. It was the only way I could win... Until my friend cornered me... ><

PvE is pretty okay here. And even PvP follows a certain guideline: play defensive, build your character, then go on the offense.
5v5 games (whether co-op vs AI or PvP) are usually 40-45mins give or take.

I played a few games today using the same champion. It's safe to say that I'm awful, but I'm a lot better than I was when I started, thank goodness!

Looks like I have to pass... School can be... annoying, to say the least. with all the problems going on right now, my life is messed up, so I can't play till like er... After my mids I think. And that would be about June? Unless this storm in my life passes by fast, of course
