Don't know what to tell you about that, but I would like to finish some of those battles (I would have re-killed that undead knight). Anyway would you like that potion back I can send you one of mine?

You don't have to do that, I just think it would be better if we could finish the battle.... (thats all really)

Thats fine, I didn't expect anything to happen, and if it did, not right away.

You can finish your battles - just not if you reload the page.
Since the Esior's Haven raid uses a special zone only accessible during an event, when an event is over it's no longer accessible. The "access" part is checked when you first load the page or attempt to use the "Explore" button. So if you refresh the page and the zone is no longer available, it will kick you out.
As far as the error you received, I'm not quite sure why that happened - but basically it was just not appropriately redirecting you to the right location - not a huge deal.
