Thats kind of unfair to anyone who hasn't made it to the grove yet, and those who have no enjoyment playing there like myself. I hate the grove and wish anything fest or fun related was available to me without the use of the little bonus area that somehow has recieved more updates and content then base map the last 7/8 years or so. Thats just me of course. To those who both have acces to and love the grove have fun I guess. But whatever happend to fests that can be enjoyed in the base game? (Like the very beginning where during valentine and easter you could catch themed during invasions and in the base maps. Which was super fun... why oh why is it now moved to the less user friendly and the more exclusive grove? ) Not here to pick fights or debate. Just sharing my opinion on the matter. Do with that whatever you see fit people. I'm going back to my corner of the internet now and will wait for more main map updates as thats where I want to explore.

This isn't really an event. I just don't know what else to really call them other than "Bonus Event". But it should not be confused with things like Patriotic Event, Week of Love, Fortune Event, etc. Those are actual events with limited time content and such and we typically make them more flexible.

The reason that so much centers around the Lost Grove is for a few reasons. Firstly, it is the end-game Zone at this point in time - and the only end-game Zone we have. Secondly, all content before the Lost Grove is not remotely balanced for the massive power creep that happens from Levels 60-75. There is no way for me to put balanced content out there for Level 75 players that doesn't negatively affect legitimate Level 1-59 players. And lastly, the biggest reason, is that the Lost Grove is coded in a way that semi-easily allows me to inject new things into it. It is exceptionally tedious and difficult to do this for the Level 1-59 content.

The Lost Grove is one clump of files with a lot of data stored in the database. For some things, I can easily just change a few things in the database and it's good to go. The other Zones are all individual file systems for each Zone and everything is in the files. This means if I want to add something, I need to implement it directly into the files for each and every Zone - and on top of that, not all Zones are the same. So the way I add it into one Zone doesn't necessarily mean I can do it the same way for an older/newer Zone. The workload to add things into older Zones is tenfold relative to the Lost Grove - and probably also ten times more likely to cause unforeseen bugs and issues.

So unfortunately, until our Exploration system is overhauled and relaunched, pretty much all of the limited explore/battle content is going to be in the Lost Grove unless it already exists in the other Zones.

Well said Krin. I'm glad you went into detail cause I don't think many understand the work that injecting events into older zones would take. Now onto my question, the bonus event doesn't have double xp just double the chance of themes and treasure yeah?

Correct. The next Double XP Event will probably coincide with the start of the Summer Festival.

Just a mini suggestion, but maybe you could call it an area overcharge? That way when the site switches over you could have these "overcharges' in different areas of the map, like a random weather pattern, and for now it gives it a separation from the real mini fests. That is if there are any more of these planned anyway lol.

Or you can call it "LG Event/ LG Bonus Event" If people want to complain they arent in the grove, thats fine they can either work their way up or sit it out
