Delphin handed the coffee to Victoria, her grey eyes studied Victoria as she smiled slightly and hummed. "Office job I assume?" She said amused as she handed the second overly complicated coffee to her and brought up the total, head to the side. "That'll be $3.50 I will cover the second one, only because you look absolutely exhausted" She said smiling slightly.

Jackson stood there, as his boss continued to yell at him this time he didn't walk away as he was on clock and he just studied the paper towel behind his bosses head, nodding and humming in response. The boss threatened to fire him but Jackson looked at him now. "You know no one else here will do what I do" Was all Jackson said and the boss sighed and nodded in agreement before walking away shaking his head.

Victoria hummed, unamused. "How could you tell?" She asked flatly as she accepted the coffee. She had brought out a card, and when Delphin offered to pay for the second one, she inserted the card. "You don't have to do that." Vic tried not to be too offended at the fact that her lack of interest in her job was showing so obviously.

Ezhno overheard snippets of a seemingly tense conversation as he pretended to browse. At first, it seemed as though the person was talking to himself. That didn't make sense to Ezhno, but he wasn't one to judge. He continued to listen, and he was even more intrigued by a second voice that offered seemingly as little as possible. After it fell silent, he figured the conversation was over. Interesting.

Delphin hummed gently trying to make it seem like she was just being kind, "Trust me. I hate my job too, I never wanted to be a waitress" She said rubbing her neck gently as she put in the full total of $7.05 for the full price, "Well, most office workers tend to be a little more snippy about time, you on the other hand didn't mind if I took a little break" She explained smiling slightly as she brushed a stray orange hair out of her face. "Would you like your receipt?" She asked head to the side.

Jackson sighed heavily as he inhaled deeply smelling the person closer now and his nerves jumped in surprise at how quickly and silently that the stranger had moved, he looked up and down the isle confused eyes scanning for the stranger that had moved onto his radar and he hummed.

Victoria couldn't help but wonder if this barista was trying too hard. She didn't wonder in a mean or degrading way. Not purposely, anyway. "So, why are you working a job you hate, then?" Vic had reasons of her own, but how could anyone who had dreams of something better settle for something like this? "Yes, I would like a receipt." She would've been more snippy if she was on a time crunch, but if worse came to worse, she would just get fired, which she wouldn't care about too much.

Ezhno kept strolling along the isles, although it was getting a bit boring, and all the bright colors were starting to give him a headache. He realized that he had been eavesdropping and chided himself for being so rude. He wouldn't want someone eavesdropping on his conversations. Not that he had many.

Delphin smiled slightly and hummed, "Well the detective job I wanted went to a human. So I was unable to acquire it" She said bluntly whispering human slightly knowing any supernatural creatures would hear it as she hummed. "Plus this helps me become... Social?" She said hoping it would be that way as she handed Victoria the receipt smiling slightly.

Jackson went back to stocking shelves when a woman walked up asking where the baby isle was and he sighed turning to her, "Ma'am. The isle literally has the items on it... But if you must ask me its in isle 4..." He said trying to be nice and the woman sighed explaining that she had not slept in a few days and he hummed gently nodding in understanding as her child a toddler from the looks hung off her arm that held a basket.

Victoria raised her eyebrows at this and took her receipt, very tempted to just walk out now. However, she was interested. "No, no, it doesn't. It just makes you tired of stupid people and Karens. I say try again for that detective job, or at least somewhere that's not...this." She gestured around with a coffee and her free hand, taking her card and tucking it away, putting the receipt in her other hand, and picking up the other coffee.

Ezhno was about to take his leave, but he heard a tired mother and the other person's response. He really has to stop eavesdropping. He glanced into the aisle with the mother and the worker for longer than he should have, not even browsing to hide his unabashed stare as he watched the two interact.

Delphin raised a shocked brow, a gentle smile covering her face as she nodded gently. "I might take your advice, I can actually do something about the disappearances" She hummed in thought as she noticed someone motioning for her help. "Have a good day, I will take your advice into consideration" She said with a smile.

Jackson looked over eyes curious as he made eye contact, his eyes studied Ezhno at the end of the isle his eyes confused. "Ma'am I apologize for the way I acted and I understand why you asked, but yes. Isle 4 is where you will find everything you need" He said smiling at the lady who nodded grateful for his help.

Victoria was slightly taken aback by the fact that this girl thought she could do something about the disappearances. She wasn't entirely sure if that was wise and if that was what she had meant to imply. So, she simply replied with, "You as well," before leaving. If she could do something about the vanishing people, why hadn't she already? Of course, this was none of her business, so she decided to stop, or at least try to stop, thinking about it.

Ezhno raised his chin slightly, subconsciously, as the stranger made eye contact. That was bound to happen the way he had been staring. He could see the way the stranger was confused, yet he couldn't understand why. Unsure whether he wanted to stay long enough for the employee to confront him, he took a few steps back.

Delphin hummed going over what she said again and mentally face palmed hard core at her ridiculous social skills, "Jeez, I seriously need to take lessons from like a social butterfly or something I have no idea how to talk to people without looking like I was insane" She mumbled frowning at herself as she went and did her job, helping tables.

Jackson looked over at Ezhno as his head moved to the side, 'That's the supernatural being I smell' He thought as he waved at Ezhno before going back to work. He wasn't much for social interaction but he waved anyway, as he wanted to make sure not to start business with any supernatural being.

It may not have been Delphin's supposed lack of social skills; it could've been Victoria's lack of motivation to make a conversation anything except a curt interaction. Victoria returned to the office, clearly more defeated than when she had left. She gave the lady a coffee and set the other one next to the broken coffee machine, returning to her solitaire with a resigned sigh.

Ezhno tilted his head slightly to one side as the stranger waved at him. He raised his hand to repeat the motion back at the person. He made no attempt to walk closer but no attempt to back up more steps. He wasn't sure what to make of him. It had been obvious from the beginning that he had no intention to hurt him, from what Ezhno could tell.
