The appearance of herd mechanics causes the woman's face to crease in a slight frown, even as she takes in the other's absurd amount of health. Maybe more so, because as far as Averry knew, breaching the HP cap by almost double of your original bar was unheard of -- especially at level 1, with basic gear.
Her blade dips and she takes a slight step backward before launching forward with a flourish, steel glinting with hints of orange. The skill combined with the cuts from the previous seconds of battle fells the monster, while the its corresponding movement places her neatly beside the other.
"Sorry about that... Candelia," she says, pausing to read the other's name. "Didn't expect the rest to aggro." She inclines her head forwards, and the apology gives way to curiosity. "How is your health so high?"
The other seems content to stand inside the ring of monsters, so while Averry would prefer slaying them, she stills her sword for the moment.

She shrugged, the rest of the herd shrugging with her. Her player name fizzled to "Candelia", looks like that was supposed to be the chosen name. Below her rather strange-looking health bar was a somewhat fuzzy buff icon. That was probably why. Though, her MP was draining at an astounding rate. Holy-
"It's fine," she responded, sheathing the glaive, the rest of the herd hopping on her shoulders, head, and one resting in her open palm. "About that," she answered, as her health reverted to normal due to being out-of-combat and minimal MP. "I... kind of just got in, and didn't exactly study the class I picked. It was kind of highlighted for me, in a way..."
The herd of little blobs seemed to just be having fun with each other, though they now looked not natural with everything else in the area.

(Let me go fix that!)
Averry watches the cheerful horde with hungry eyes, fingers twitching even as she sets her sword neatly into its sheath. She'd much rather be grinding out EXP, but she stays her hand, knowing that slaying has never been the main method of leveling. And while the game is popular enough that finding a party shouldn't be much of an issue, it would be much safer with someone that had a combat active that could add so many temporary lifepoints. Which, it sounds like Candelia found through the tutorial and subsequent class recommendations, having likely selected a preference for a tanking playstyle.
With this in mind, she extends a hand towards the other and asks, "Would you like to party for the early quests?" A twitch of her fingers pulls up a player menu, leaving her to hover over the request option.

(oop- alrighty then, 485 HP go brrrrrrrr.
basically how that passive works is a general stat buff that ends when a) a blobby is slain or b) mp go bye bye)
She shrugged, one of the blobs mashing the "accept" button for her. "Why not? Shared experience is nice, plus, I wanna see what else I have besides whatever 'Jierda' is. Now I kinda wanna test it out..."
A semi-dreamy expression was on her face, since she had a bit of creativity. The description was rather vague...
Jierda
Has the user use an empowered weapon attack of any weapon type, using their Willpower instead of Strength or Dexterity.

(Oh no, Averry's over here murdering her summons D: Also, I'm just saying, but these are the types of misunderstandings that I live for, so I'm going to milk this for all that it's worth, until Averry figures out what's going on.)
"Jierda," Averry mouths, tasting the feel of the name on her tongue. Assuming that it's a skill name, it's quite different from her own class's, which have all been standard English so far. The one she just used: Aspect of Incarnation; her starting Passive: Essence of Soul.
Strangeness aside, she's more than ready to test the skill out, especially with the flash of 'Party Formed' in front of her eyes. It's moved towards the side with a flick of her fingers, to avoid any distractions in future fights, and Emerett steps forward.
"We should be able to find some questing if we explore," she calls, shifting into a runner's stance and leaping off once her teammate is ready.

As the spell was mouthed, an actual mob decided to stab Cande, which, admittedly, didn't do too much damage. It did cause her to instinctively use the mentioned spell.
In her hand materialized what seemed to be a flail made of pure light, and the slam radius was absolutely massive. Its windup was rather slow and so was the swing, and she stalled a little after the hit.
The mace vanished shortly after, Cande just standing there in shock at what the hell just happened. Even her summons seemed confused, one forming a "?" above its head like this was a cartoon.
[Candelia used Jierda! Candelia dealt 24 damage!]
[Lesser Wyvern was slain!]

By the time Averry has whipped back around, ready to defend her teammate, Candelia's attack animation has already begun. The afterimage of the whip glows behind her eyelids as she closes them to avoid being blinded, and when the swordsman opens them, its to the sight of a notification.
"Is there anything you don't have," she says, intrigued despite herself. "DPS and tank; if you had healing, you could form the trifecta all by yourself." Because that Lesser Wyvern had died in one hit, and if that wasn't a sign of good damage, then Averry didn't know what was.
Sure enough, the blobs seem just as surprised, alerting Averry to their nature as friendly mobs rather than enemies.
A hand dips down towards one, and she whispers a quiet, "Sorry about earlier," trying to keep her voice from carrying over to Candelia. It seems like a strange thing to talk to monsters and NPCs like they're anything more than lines of code, but Averry has had received positive reactions from doing it, and she sees no reason to not continue doing so.
As she straightens from petting the blob, she catches the sight of a farmer, dressed in worn garb with a pitchfork in hand, streaming over the hill. Looks like a quest is coming her way.

"Ironically enough, now that you mention it..." she started, pulling up her class information panel to show her teammate. "This is supposed to be a healer class. Maybe I'm just bugged or something..."
The blob that was patted squirmed a little in joy, turning a rather pleasant shade of yellow. The others bounded over to the farmer, possibly startling him. As the farmer jabbed his pitchfork at the blobs, they retreated slightly, getting a little violet. A mix between sadness and anger. Sad-mad?
Cande did seem sightly rooted in place after the spell, noting this by trying to pull at her leg and it wouldn't budge. Another bug, or a feature?

A single eyebrow rises in a silent, sarcastic question before Averry rocks back on her heels. "There's got to be a novel's worth of conditions on your skills, if you can complete all three of them, and complete them well." Take her class; it's balanced around melee DPS with several functions for mobility and surviving in the wild.
Something that, looking at Candelia's rooted feet, the other seems to share. Since she can't do anything to protect the mobs that she's gotten attached to, Averry steps in; cool conference and a hint of a smile on her lips.
"Now, I'm sure these little ones aren't the cause of your troubles," she says, placing herself between the blobs and the farmer. "We wouldn't mind helping with what's troubling you though."

Cande was still in the visual corner, finally getting her foot free. "Bug or feature my ass," she murmured to herself.
Once free though, she trotted over to her teammate, leaning on her glaive as the NPC spoke his doodads and whatever.
She was eyeing the pitchfork with some hint of worry, since it did quite literally poke at one of her blobby kids. Momma mode moment.
