Amira studied the humans, looking more closely at the adult, finding him intriguing.

Azul chuckles slightly.

Artemis stands and sighs. "Yuu it's time to go home. It's getting late and it's almost dinner time. " Artemis says in a deep but gentle tone.

Yuu looks up and says, "Okay Papa," he pouts slightly. Sad that he couldn't play anymore in the sand. He gets up and walks to his dad. Artemis picks Yuu up and holds him up. Yuu wrap his arms around Artemis's neck and leans against him.

She makes a kind of dolphin-sounding noise to mess with them a bit, The sound of a dolphin meant there were mermaids nearby normally.

Yuu looks at the ocean in confusion. "Papa can we go see the dolphins?" Yuu asks innocently.

Artemis sighs and says, "Yuu those are mermaids. Dolphins make that sound when merfolf is near. And you need to be careful. They dislike humans for a reason. Azul hums and says, "The human is smart. The human child is a child but I sense something strange about the child."

Yuu notice something in the ocean and says, "Papa what's that?" He points at the ocean and towards the two figures.

Artemis looks back and sighs. "They are merfolk Yuu. Let's leave them alone alright? " Artemis says.

The princess heard more people and quickly swam back into the water, away from the land, pulling Azul under.

Azul frowns slightly and follows.

Artemis sighs as he sees his employees and guard. He walk towards them and gets in the carriage. Yuu was pouting but was curious. He snuggles closer to his papa.

The mermaid waits until she cannot hear anyone anymore and goes back up to the surface.

The beach was empty. No people were on the beach and not even the interesting human and human child.
