Well, it's been 2 years in the making! It stems off from another rp I'm doing (not on sylestia) that got out of hand in the best way, lol


I can explain anything that's not clearly explained and/or isn't in there yet!

Sure from what i gather fay are not fairies but kinda humanoid creature's and vega troed toake more equal rights for women and though "hectic' is a good king who been divorced many times while his son Oberon is 'selfish?' And made laws to help himself

Fay types
Satyrs/goat
Feirial/ mammals (e.g cats dogs rabbits)
Sphinx/Lion
Leshi (royalty and nobility)

That's just one of the elements! There's 6 main elements, plus 2 minor ones. They're:

Unseelie- winter fey. They're basically (and in a lot of fey lore, literally) seelie's opposite- instead of being so strict it hurts their people, they're so lax it hurts their people. Species are pouka (small cat people with dark fur, no magic), lycis (similar to pouka, but have horns and very long claws), shen (snake people, no magic but often venomous), and basilisks (semi-snake people with fur, have a tail similar to a scorpions and can create ice). Mab's their queen and she's not nice but well-intentioned, Ferra was her predecessor and she committed lots of murders.


Terra- nature fey. They don't really have a kingdom like the seasonal fey do, because not only do both species live in separate places, but they're all split up into extremely small groups. The species are oreads (blue mountain people, I call them 'plant kitties' but they don't really look like cats, they have plant features which are usually on their heads, paws, or tails.) and dryads (tree people that kinda look like skeletons). Both have powerful healing magic, the difference being oreads' is faster but limited, dryads' is slower but unlimited. Oreads can also summon non-extinct small plants.


Aqua- aquatic fey. They were a kingdom, then drama with their old queen destroyed it, now they're back together under a new queen. There's only one species, sirens, and the differences between siren breeds are small and generally unimportant. But, acid sirens are immune to acid and dart sirens are poisonous. They all have classic siren powers, and they're fish people. Marina is their current queen and she's very short


Ignis- dragons (and a few kitsunes)! They're sometimes a kingdom, sometimes not. When they don't have a leader, they all turn feral, and they currently don't have a leader. But, when they do have a leader, they have a priest because they're quite religion-focused. They have the most species; zenko (basically just kitsunes but with hooved feet and they're humanoid), wyverns (somewhat deerlike dragons with a venomous barb on their tail), kingdragons (the only species who doesnt go feral. they are always the priest because of this. They're also gigantic, but they're otherwise a typical dragon), pyrausta (very small dragons the size of a cat, they have butterfly wings instead of dragon wings), aurobori (long dragons with fluffy backs), zmey (long-necked with cobra frills that have eye-spots), ladone (normal dragons but 6 legs), and coatl (adorable-looking apex predators with feathered wings and big, silly-looking eyes). They don't have a priest right now so no leader.


Iron/arial (only one exists at a time but theyre the same)- birds! They're a militaristic society, also heavily religious as arials, who as arials were the largest and most dangerous kingdom. As irons, they're a quieter threat who mostly keep to themselves. They're split into two sections, land and magma fey. Magma fey breathe sulfur and originate from the volcanoes found in the area, land fey originate from somewhere else and breathe oxygen. Magma fey are immune to the acid rain that falls in the land (because of the fumes from the volcanoes) and can touch lava with no issues. They're also extremely prone to damage. Land fey are normal fey, so they can't survive acid or lava, but they also won't break their whole lower body if they land slightly wrong.

Arial species are glasswings (magma, can spit venom. they have moth wings and antennae), harpies (land, pretty typical winged person but they have 2 pairs of wings + wing-ears), sicura (magma, 2 or more are always born, their tails are attached to each other. they have squirrel tails and ears, and 3-4 pairs of flightless wings), antaire (land. idk how to describe these guys so here's what one looks like), strix (they go extinct, but they're short semi-mothlike bird people), and amphitere (look a lot like a winged person, but their wings have some scales and they have antennae).

Iron species are a bit different, because iron doesn't have any species of its own. Iron fey can be born iron, but most irons are that way because they caught the Iron Death. Almost any species can catch the ID and become iron, with sirens being the exception as they simply aren't affected by the illness. Any species turned iron is just called 'iron (species', though sometimes a species will get a slight name change, like glasswings getting called ironwings.

The arial queen was Akatitari, and the iron king is Machina.


The other two are umbral and solstice. Umbral is a bit like iron, where it doesnt have its own species. The reason it's misc is because umbral fey can't leave their territory, so they don't affect the others. Solstice fey are single-species like sirens, and they're very similar to actual faeries, just with some more bug tendencies.

Wow you really have been busy with this i think we will stick with the summer Fae as its written down and i know it better than the rest plus i can more easily make a 'oc' for that element

Sounds good! Do you want to hybridize them with anything? A seelie can be a hybrid of anything that's not an aqua fey or a dragon (zenko can be hybridized, just not other ignis)! This includes humans, too.

Fey are pretty similar to humans and one another. Genetically, anyways. That's also why they can't hybridize sirens or dragons, because they're too different gene-wise. Misc also can't be hybridized because of the shades' inability to leave and aines' size respectively.

Oh I RP for the fun of just escaping reality for a minute. My RP style is very descriptive typically one to five paragraphs, haha but if its a shorter response it is never bland. I thrive on details and the emotional interaction in my characters. And I can do a range of characters it all really depends what your looking for (romantic/friend/rival) but I only play heterosexual characters thats my only rule for me but I can play male and female characters
