Species: Glasswing
Appearance: Scrawny and a little bit scraggly, but beautiful. Her feathers look a lot like the patterns and colors of a tiger swallowtail butterfly, and her moth parts look vaguely like a luna moth's. Her eyes are a deep rose color and her skin is on the paler side of mixed, being a pleasant caramel hue. She tends to wear simple black and grey clothing.
Personality: Comes off as aggressive, harsh, and haughty. 9 times out of 10 she's not trying to be any of those three, but she tends to come across as it. She's very passionate when it comes to literally anything affecting her- she may begin yelling about her food or the clouds if someone riles her up, though none of it is mean-spirited. She cares a lot about a lot of things, and would die for the people she loves. She also has zero patience when it comes to magma unfairness.
Backstory: She's worked very hard to achieve what she has. She fought to be allowed military school. She fought to be considered for a curitor position. She's fought tooth and claw for every promotion and avoidance of firing she's had. She fought to save Vie. She has had to fight for everything.
Other: She's one of only 3 military magma fey. She's a curitor, which is basically just the judge, jury, and execution rolled up into one job.

Gender: Female
Age: 9
Species: Strix (yes I know it's not listed stay with me)
Appearance: Tiny, as most children are. But she's actually taller than most adult strix, because strix are tiny. Her eyes have bright scarlet irises with dark purple scelra and white star-shaped pupils, and her hair is ebony. Her wings are a dark violet with lavender tips. She has two tiny, fuzzy antennae on her head.
Personality: Shy and introverted, but sweet and kind. She would never dare hurt a fly, and if she did she would sob for hours. She has some pretty bad self-esteem issues, but acts positively and is an optimist. She's amazingly smart, smarter than most High Scientists combined. She doesn't get many chances to show it off but when she does she's overjoyed.
Backstory: Vie is the last of her kind. The winter-wind war has completely exterminated the strix, and only left one egg, Vie's egg, undestroyed.

Appearance: basically a Monsterverse Skullcrawler, but with the Glasswing features. the Head of the skullcrawler is a Glasswings head, but the upper lip is bony beak with some teeth in the back, while the bottom is still a human lip. his antennae are a lot smaller, restricting his hearing, and the tail feathers are on the extra-long tail but can spread out like a peacocks. also, instead of the bird wings, they got deformed into weird feathered joints he uses as legs.

(to make it simple, its a small skullcrawler, with feathered legs, moth wings, the skull-lip head, a prehilsile tail that can spread out feathers, a strangely long prehensile tongue, and tiny antennae. please, allow this, because this is my best idea for a character in a long while and im really proud of it.

also, i have no ideas for other characters besides King Gihdorah and Godzilla inspirations.)

Personality: always hungry, brave to a fault, reckless, relies mainly on instict to fight and hunt, sometimes his insticts get in the way of basic reasoning

Backstory: he was, in simple terms, evolution gone wrong. he was born with many deformities and struggled to survive as a child, especially since he was exiled at birth. he managed to survive and thrive, and is a dangerous force of nature.

Other: hes very, very strong, quite quick, and while his skin is soft and he can be easily wounded by cuts, he cant quickly die without stuff like explosions or disembowelment. also, his tail is prehensile, and his skull is more durable than stuff like boulders and trees, and can stop small projectiles like arrows and bullets unless they hit his eyes. to make it not OP, hes always hungry to the point of starvation, cant fly long due to his wings not able to hold his weight very well, and hes very solitary and doesnt trust others easily.

Something I forgot to mention about magma fey that frankly doesn't affect the story much but is cool- they're impervious to both magma and the acid rain. They treat volcanoes basically like a hot tub, and acid rain is only an annoyance to them like how non-acid rain is for us! Non-magma fey are affected by these things just like how a human would be (aka death by burning/melting) so it's a neat lil thing

Gender: Male
Age: 24
Species: Harpy
Appearance: Dark brown skin with sapphire blue hair and feathers. Hes got one of those side fades where one half of his head has hair while the other doesn't. He's broad shouldered and overall a very big, imposing guy. He has a small scar on one wing and two on his wrist, but none of his scars are very large. His tail is longer than normal, though it doesn't seem like it because it curls at the tip. His eyes are a dusty corn yellow, and his ear-feathers are bigger than normal.
Personality: Despite his frightening, dangerous-looking appearance, he's a pretty nice dude. He's an absolute extrovert and loves to drag every person he knows to every social gathering he possibly can. Lirunim is his usual target for socialization- he will drag her to literally every social meeting he can, and Vie too if he can get away with it. He's not a pushover, and he's not afraid to kill a guy if it comes to it, but he prefers not to harm to solve problems.
Backstory: His entire family has a monopoly on the High General position. His father was General. His grandmother was General. His great-grandfather was General. The position has stayed in his family since before humans existed. Because of this he's had quite a cushy life, and despite Liru's attempts he's never really understood why glasswings can't just try harder if they want to be in the military.
