The war is still going strong. Unknowing to the races, an elf Villiage in the forest is dangerously close to a human city.

A young girl whos dressed as a tomboy walked into the forest to hide from all the humans yelling at her.

Not far from the village was a young elf who had a basket set steadily on her hip, her soft gown rested against the berry bushes as she picked black berries and set them in the basket humming a small bit

Then the elf girl heard running nearby, based on cracking twigs and. . . Crying?

Her ears twitched as the noise got louder, she was confused on who would be crying in the middle of the woods at this time, she set her basket down and decided to go explore where the noise was coming from as she peeked threw some trees

She saw a human girl, sitting on a dead log. Her clothes were torn from the tree limbs, and she seemed incredibly for some reason.

"Hmph human" she said to herself before stepping on a small twig "crap" she whispered lowly before turning to the girl who stared at her "you okay?"

The girl turned and backpedaled, falling on her butt and scrabbling away. *dont hurt me!* she yelped.

"Does it look like I'm gonna hurt you? I pick berries for a living " she rolled her eyes and sighed coming a little closer "your gonna ruin your clothes even more if you don't get out the mud"
